Chapter 12

Chapter 12: Let's play together!

It had been a week since Yoongi told the others that he was a little too but the members didn't really notice any difference. Yoongi still didn't like to slip around everyone and he hadn't really played with Kookie yet. Only Namjoon and Jin had played with little Yoonie because Yoongi would only slip in his room and Yoongi was pretty okay with this. This way he didn't feel like a huge bother to the members and he could slip into little space almost whenever. Kookie however wasn't happy with this, he really wanted to play with Yoonie. 

"Dada, when can I play with Yoonie?" Kookie asked. He was coloring with Jimin and Taehyung right now (without the usual craftstore supplies that Tae would bring along). "I don't know prince, but you have to give little Yoonie some time. He's a lot younger and shyer then you are." "I know Dada but I wanna colow with Yoonie!" "Maybe later Kookie, I'll ask Namjoon, okay?" "Thank you Dada!" Kookie said, happy that his Dada was at least going to try to get Yoonie to play with him. Yoonie in the mean time was playing with Eeyore and Namnam, completely in his own world, while Namjoon was sitting on the bed playing on his phone. It still confused Namjoon why Yoongi thought that little Yoonie would be a bother to the members, he had been super easy so far. Namjoon looked up from his phone to check on Yoonie. "Heey Yoonie, what are you doing?" "Pwaying Namnam Eeyore." Yoonie said back. He was in a too small headspace to make full sentence, and besides, talking with a paci in your mouth is hard even for adults. Just as Namjoon wanted to ask something else someone knocked on the door. "Namjoon-hyung, can I come in?" Jimin asked. "Of course!" Jimin walked into the room and cooed at the sight of Yoonie playing with his plushies. Yoonie was so immersed in his little fantasy world that he hadn't even noticed someone walking in. "Kookie is asking for Yoonie again, do you think he's ready to play with Kookie now?" "I'm not sure Jimin-ah, even with just me around he's still super shy, but you can ask him. He's in a very small headspace right now though." "It's worth a try." Jimin said before crouching in front of Yoonie. Yoonie looked up to Jimin and tried to hide behind his plushies. "Hey little one, there is no need to be shy, really! I just wanted to ask if you would like to play with Kookie!" Yoonie looked to Jimin, then to Namjoon and then back to Jimin. "Come Yoonie, you'll have fun playing with Kookie!" Namjoon said while holding out his hand. Yoonie hasitatingly took Namjoons hand. "Good boy!" Namjoon said while smiling, "Do you wanna take Eeyore and Namnam with you?" Yoonie nodded, he already had Namnam clutched to his chest so Namjoon picked up Eeyore. 

"Kookie! Look who wants to play with you!" Jimin said while walking into the living room. Kookie, who was still coloring with Taehyung, looked up from his drawing. "Yoonie!" He shouted when he saw the other little standing in the doorway. Kookie stood up as fast as he could and ran towards Yoonie. "Kookie, what did I say about running in the house?" Jimin scolded the little. "Sawwy!" Kookie said to Jimin while looking at Yoonie. "Come Yoonie, lets colow!" Yoonie let go of Namjoons hand and followed the other little without saying a word. Kookie didn't mind that though, he was already happy that the little had come out to play. Taehyung, who had been watching, gave Yoonie his own paper to draw on. "Here Yoonie, now you can color as well." He said to the little. Yoonie took the paper without a word and started to draw. Kookie looked at the other little with a smile and also started to color. 

After an hour all the members were watching the 2 littles interact. Kookie was telling whole stories to Yoonie and Yoonie said nothing back but it was clear that Yoonie was listening to Kookie and that he was enjoying himself. Kookie didn't mind that Yoonie wasn't talking, he was happy enough with the little smiles the other little would give him when Kookie said something Yoonie found funny. "Yoonie, did you know that Joonie is a big meanie?!" Kookie asked Yoonie. Yoonie didn't react but Kookie went on anyway. "He bwoke my book and my cwayon! But but aftew he gave me new one so we awe fwiends again now!" "Kookie Yoonie fwiend?" Yoonie asked. It caught Kookie of guard since he hadn't expected that Yoonie would say something. Kookie looked at Yoonie and gave him one of his big bunny smiles. "Kookie and Yoonie awe best fwiends!" He said while hugging Yoonie. Yoonie looked content with this answer and hugged Kookie back before going back to his drawing. All the members cooed at the sight. "Aaaaaw, I wish Yoongi would have told us earlier that he is a little too!" Taehyung said while watching the littles. "I know right!" Jimin exclaimed, "They are so cute together!" "I hope this will make it easier for Yoongi to slip around us." Namjoon said, "Also, we need to go to the store as soon as we can, Yoongi has close to no little things at all. And we're going to need more little stuff in general now that we have 2 of them." "Hoseok-ah, can you help me make dinner?" Jin asked while looking at his watch. "But hyunggg, I wanna watch the 2 cuties!" "If you help me now you won't have to help Jimin feeding Jungkook!" Jin said with a smirk. Hoseok immediatly stood up. Kookie might be easy to bath, but horrible to feed, he was a picky eater to say the least. "How do you think Yoonie will like things like dinner and bath time?" Taehyung thought outloud. All the members looked at him. "We'll find out soon enough." Namjoon said, looking back at the littles, "You should hurry with the food hyungs, Kookie is getting a little grumpy." Everyone looked back at the littles and saw that Namjoon was right. Kookie had just ripped his paper because the drawing wasn't good enough. 

After an hour of trying to keep 2 grumpy littles happy, the food was finally ready. Kookie had thrown an tantrum after his second drawing also wasn't what he had wanted it to be, scaring Yoonie. Yoonie had started crying and still was crying. "Sssh, Yoonie, ssssh" Namjoon said to the crying little. Yoonie's cries had resolved to sobs as soon as Namjoon had picked him up. "Come little one, it's time to eat." Namjoon said while sitting down and putting the little in his lap. Yoonie looked at his food and grabbed some to stuff it in his mouth. Kookie saw what Yoonie did and attempted to do the same. "No no no Kookie!" Jin scolded, "You are a big boy and big boys don't eat with their hands!" "Sawwy Jinnie!" Kookie said. Kookie looked back at his food deciding he didn't like his food. "Kookie no want this food! Kookie wants nuggets!" Kookie yelled at his Dada. "Kookie!" Jimin scolded, "We've told you so many times, you eat what we tell you to eat! You can't eat chicken nuggets every day!" Yoonie at the mean time was still feeding himself, making a mess of both his face and Namjoons clothes. Taehyung and Hoseok were both laughing at how messy Yoonie and Namjoon were. Namjoon was also laughing because little Yoonie, he just looked so cute enjoying his food. "Look Kookie, even Yoonie is eating his food!" Jin said to Kookie, who was throwing another tantrum. "Yoonie is a baby! I'm a big boy and big boys eat chicken nuggets!" "No, big boys eat what the cook gives them!" Jimin said while attempting to give Kookie another bite of his food. 

This went on for another 30 minutes. In the end Kookie ate all his food and Yoonie looked like he bathed in the food instead of eating it. Namjoon picked up the dirty little. "Anyone who wants to help me find out if Yoonie to bath?" He asked. "Me!" Taehyung exclaimed fast. "Okay, come with me!" Namjoon said to Taehyung with a smile, a smile that wouldn't last long. It turned out that Yoonie didn't like baths, not at all. As soon as Namjoon walked into the bathroom with little Yoonie, started to cry and scream while stomping Namjoon. "No no no!" Yoonie shouted. "Eeeh" Taehyung said, "and what do we do now?" "Just run the bath!" Namjoon said. "Sssh Yoonie, sssh, it's only a bath." Namjoon said, trying to comfort the little, but it had the opposite effect. Yoonie only cried louder. When the bathtub was completely filled Yoonie was still crying and still completely dressed. Namjoon hadn't managed to get Yoonie to stay still long enough to get him undressed. Taehyung was looking around the bathroom to see if there was anything that might calm the little down. "Namjoon, is there something that Yoonie really likes? I can go get it and mabye that will calm Yoonie down." "Good thinking Taehyung." Namjoon said, "Go to the living room and grab Namnam, that will hopefully calm him down." Taehyung run to the living room to grab the plushie. When he came back Namjoon had finally managed to get Yoonie's sweater off but nothing more than that. "Here" Taehyung said while giving yoonie the plushie. "See Yoonie, Namnam also wants you to take a bath!" Yoonie immediatly calmed down at the sight of his favourite plushie and Namjoon was finally able to undress Yoonie and put him in bath. 

The bath incident had left Yoonie exhausted and also Kookie had difficulties staying awake so Jin decided that it was time for the littles to go to sleep. Kookie threw some weak protests before Jimin picked him up and carried him to his room. Yoonie, who was already in his pyjamas, was even easier. Hoseok just picked him up and put him in bed. "Good night Yoonie" Hoseok whispered. Yoonie didn't even say anything back because he was already asleep.
