Chapter 27

Chapter 27: Yoongi and Namjoon

Yoongi had known for a very long time that he liked Namjoon more than just friends. He wouldn't call it in love, nor a crush really, just more than friends. He never really thought about it either, he just knew it happened and that's it. Only until after he told the others that he was a little too the others seemed to realise too that Yoongi felt different towards Namjoon than towards the others. Yoongi didn't like that the others realised it too, it scared him, it was supposed to be his secret. But mostly he didn't like how the others where unconciously or even on purpose leaving Namjoon and Yoongi home alone together, something that happened today as well. 

"Namjoon-hyung, Yoongi-hyung, Me, Jimin-hyung and Tae-hyung are going to the arcade!" Jungkook said to the 2 people left in the dorm. "We have a free day, are you not going to slip?" Yoongi asked surprised, he himself was definitely planning on slipping and watching some cartoons the whole day long. "I promised them to go to the arcade with them, I can slip this evening anyway." "Oh, okay, where did Hoseok-ah and Jin-hyung go by the way?" "They went to the mall." Jimin answered. "Have fun you guys!" Namjoon said from the living room. He didn't mind being alone with Yoongi. Both big and little Yoongi where fun to be around. After that the maknae like said some more goodbyes before leaving. "Yoongi-hyung, are you going to slip today?" but Namjoon didn't even have to ask, as soon as the frontdoor closed Yoongi had already slipped. "Appa Yoonie wittwe!" the little said with a smile, answering Namjoon's question. 

Yoonie and Namjoon where sitting in the living room together. Namjoon was working on some things for BTS he could do at the dorm while Yoonie was playing with his building blocks. So far their day together had been very normal and relaxed. After a little bit of block building Yoonie decided to look at what his appa was doing. He climbed on the couch and sat next to Namjoon. Namjoon was working on his laptop, and Yoonie knew what the laptop did! If you push the button cartoons start playing. Yoonie looked at the laptop before pushing the big long button on the bottom. "Yoonie! Don't press any buttons please!" Namjoon said shocked, luckily for him Yoonie only hit the spacebar and not any of the other buttons. "Cartoon?" Yoonie asked confused. There was no cartoon playing like there normally would if he pressed the big button. Luckily Namjoon instantly understood what Yoonie was talking about. Yoongi had explained how he would spend his day in little space alone and how he would prepare for that. "No baby, this laptop won't play a cartoon for you because I'm working on it, and you are not allowed to watch tv yet." Yoonie pouted at Namjoon. He didn't understand everything that Namjoon had said but he did understand that he couldn't watch cartoons. "Appa pwease cartoon?" Yoonie tried but Namjoon shook his head. "You know the rules baby boy, no tv before 6pm." Yoonie pouted again but listened to his appa, he was a good boy. "Appa pway with Yoonie?" Namjoon looked at Yoonie and smiled. "I can play with you, what do you want to do?" "Appa and Yoonie pway with bwocks!" Yoonie said while pointing to the building blocks he had been playing with. Namjoon nodded and sat down on the ground and Yoonie sat down next to him. 

After an hour of building things with the blocks it was lunch and nap time for Yoonie. "Come baby, lets eat some lunch. What do you want?" "Berry!" Yoonie said pointing at the blue berries in the fridge. "Do you want yoghurt with berries?" "yes!" so Namjoon grabbed the berries and yoghurt and made a bowl for Yoonie. Yoonie started eating his favourite food with a smile while Namjoon made himself a sandwich. When Namjoon was done with making his sandwich Yoonie looked like a yoghurt monster and Namjoon started to laugh. "Baby, you have to put the yoghurt in your mouth, not on your face!" Yoonie looked at Namjoon confused before continuing eating his yoghurt and make an even bigger mess. "Apperently you'll have a bath before your nap baby." Namjoon said while still laughing. Yoonie looked up at the worth bath and started to pout, bathtime was not is favourite time, not at all. "No bath!" Yoonie said while spreading more yoghurt over his cheeks. "Baby, you're a yoghurt monster, you definitely need a bath!" Yoonie looked at Namjoon with a smirk before throwing some yoghurt at his appa. "Now Appa monster too!" he said proud of his plan. "Yoonie! Don't throw with food! Now I need a bath too!" which made Yoonie laugh at his caregiver. Namjoon finished his sandwich as fast as possible so he could clean himself and the little. "Come baby, time for a bath!" he said while picking Yoonie up. "Noo, no bath!" Yoonie whined. "Yoonie, if you are nice you can play with the duckies." "Duckies!" Yoonie said and he stopped kicking his appa. 

Namjoon put Yoonie down in the bathroom so he could try to undress himself. Namjoon had long ago learned that Yoonie prefered to first try things himself before asking help, which was something Yoongi also did. Namjoon grabbed the basket with all the rubber ducks (they had collected a whole bunch over the years by getting them from fans). When he looked at Yoonie he saw that he was still struggling with trying to pull his sweater off. "Shall I help you little one?" Namjoon asked and Yoonie nodded. Namjoon first started the bath before undressing the little. When the tub was full the put Yoonie in the water who immediatly started to play with the duckies. "Appa also bath!" Yoonie said before splashing water on Namjoon and giggling cutely. "Yoonie!" Namjoon said before he also started to laugh. When Yoonie saw that his caregiver didn't mind getting splashed he splashed some more water on Namjoon and Namjoon decided to splash back. This ended up in a huge water fight but they didn't care, Namjoon and Yoonie had the time of their lives. When the water started to get cold Namjoon decided that it was enough. "Come prince, lets get you dressed." he said while getting a towel for Yoonie and himself. When they were both dry Namjoon grabbed one of Yoonie's onsies and dressed the little before grabbing some dry clothes for himself. "Appa tired." Yoonie said while rubbing his eyes. The fun morning had worn the little out. "Lets get you in bed then, shall we." Namjoon said before picking the little up and putting him in bed. "night Appa." Yoonie said before closing his eyes and falling a sleep. "sleep well little one." 

Namjoon went back to the living room and grabbed his laptop to do some more BTS stuff but his head wasn't working along. Namjoon kept thinking about Yoongi and Yoonie. He didn't understand why but for the last couple of months, even before Yoongi had told him about little Yoonie, Namjoon would often think about his hyung. He didn't actually mind thinking about Yoongi, it would make him feel happy and relaxed. Sometimes he even felt like he was special to Yoongi but his rational self knew that this was nothing but a projected dream. They were close friends, yes, but nothing more than friends.
