Lost in darkness

Chapter 7

kraven pov- He stood beside his Harley which he noticed a few students eyeing it as he pulled into the parking lot and he parked next to a Volkswagen beetle. He removed his helmet not like he needed it but its the law and he was trying to keep a semi low profile. He hung his helmet on his handlebars while he pulled out his pack of cigarettes and lit one. He hoped the tobacco might ease the burn in his throat but he knew that he was just kidding himself if he thought it would. With the cigarette hanging from his lips he grabbed his bag and pulled a bottle that was full with a thick red liquid. He put out his cigarette and then took a few slips from the bottle and the burn seems to fade for now but he knew it wouldn't last long.

The elders ( older vampires in his clan ) didn't agree with his lifestyle. They were stuck in the old days and didn't feel the need to change as the world does. This was the reason why he left Transylvania so many years ago, he didn't agree with their rules and how they choose to live their life.  He had been happier since he left the clan cause he couldn't live the life they wanted him to live. He understood he was a beast that needed blood to live, he knew that he was dangerous and he was a ticking time bomb. Most Vampires let their human soul dye over time because it remains them of the monsters they really are. Imagine a person with split personalities one evil and one good, both make the person whole but sometimes your friends with a demon and other times your friends with a angel.

The only thing he worried about was he knew he didn't look like most teachers. He looked to be 23 which was young for a teacher and he knew that. He was paler then most people and as long as he keeps his hunger in check his eyes would remain the bluish green color they were now.  He had short dark brown hair and decided to wear black skinny legged dress pants and a black v-neck t-shirt that he wore under a white button up. He had his tie in his leather jacket pocket which he pulled out as he took his jacket off.

" Lets do this" he said to himself as he tied his tie as he made his way into the school building just as the bell rang.
