Lost in darkness

chapter 15

Kraven pov: He had found someone where he could be him self around.  He never knew a human could make him feel this way, she even made his vampire side feel wanted. He followed her to the kitchen and watched her as she found her something to eat. He leaned against the bar letting his eyes wander around the room. He smiled as she pulled out a yogurt and placed some berries in it.

Tess: " I want to know everything" she said as she took a bite of her yogurt.

He told her his story, how he was turned after a war and he was dying on the battle field but some how he woke up in hell cause someone turned him into this beast and left him to fend for himself. He even told her that being with him meant she was really with two people which she didn't understand at first. It's like two people sharing one body, I still have my human soul which is the good part of me, Then theirs the Vampire part which is the dark part of me. That part of me is a beast that has killed and enjoys making people suffer.

Kraven: " Do you still want to be with me knowing this"

She sat her yogurt down on the bar and went and stood in front of him wrapping her arms around his neck. "How does the vampire part of you feel about me" She stared into his fire red eyes.

Kraven: " Darling I want you in ways you don't even understand" His voice was deep and dark. It was the same voice that asked her if she believed in demons earlier

Tess: "Am I safe with you like i am with him" she watched him

Kraven: " I don't know if you want me to answer that" He had an evil smirk on his face

Tess: " I wouldn't have asked if I couldn't handle the answer" She rested her head on his chest

Kraven: " Your safe with me but I hunger for you which is also dangerous for you" He wrapped his arms around her.

Tess: " I know you already tasted my blood and i'm still here safe and sound"

Kraven: " What if I told you I had a taste of your lovely blood twice" he rested his head on hers holding her tight

Tess: " wait how, I know you bite my lip"

He laughed a dark sinister laugh pointing to the band aid on my arm.

Tess: " what the hell you took my blood when I was passed out" She crossed her arms 

Kraven: " Sorry darling but I couldn't help myself your blood was calling my name and all he lets me drink is blood bags I was dying for a taste of warm blood." he paused " They say when a vampire finds their soul mate their blood will have a taste like no other you ever tasted and darling I never had blood that was sweet like honey like yours"

Tess: " You think i'm your soul mate" she stumbled over the words forgetting she was mad at him.

Kraven: " I have never felt like this way about anyone darling, that why I asked you if you believe in demons cause i figured you would freak out and remained me that we are a beast that cant be loved but you proved me wrong, which doesn't happen often even now after learning about everything and finding out i'm basely two people your still here"

Tess: " So does that mean I'm cheating on you with you" She laughed lightly 

Kraven: "I guess you can put it like that" 

He picked her up in her arms and headed back to the bedroom laying her down and covering her up. " Its time to get some sleep" he laid beside her pulling her close to him so she could rest her head on his chest. He kissed the top of her head and with in minutes she was fast asleep, it had been a long and she didn't realize how tried she really was.
