Lost in darkness

Chapter 16

Kraven pov- He was tried but he didn't sleep instead he stayed up watching her as she slept. She was so understanding and he was truly lucky to have met her. He had never felt this way before and it was shocking that it only been three days that he first laid eyes on her. Being around her made his cold dead heart come to life, vampires weren't easy to love cause they could be heartless and cruel.  He knew the sun would be setting soon and he needed to get a few thing from his apartment. He carefully turned her over and changed back into his jeans and shoes as he headed down the stairs. The sky was started to darken when he stepped outside and made his way to his apartment. Before he stepped inside he putted out a cigarette and took a few puff.

Tess pov: She woke up to find herself alone, was yesterday a dream she thought to herself as she got out of bed. She looked at herself in the mirror realizing she wasn't dreaming when she saw she was wearing his shirt. She blushed remembering the moment they shared, she ran a brush thru her tangled hair. She looked around her room trying to find something to wear finally picking out a pair a distressed jeans and a dark purple tank top. " kraven" she called threw the house as she went downstairs looking for him.

Kraven pov: Once he was inside he went upstairs and put on a new pair jeans and a black t shirt after he took a fast shower. He grabbed a blood bag and downed it so he wouldn't feel as edgy around her . He figured he should head back so she wouldn't wake up finding him gone. It was only a short two minute walk before he found himself standing outside her apartment. He opened the door and stepped inside closing the door behind him slowly. Her place smelled of spice apple due to some candles she had left lit on her fireplace. 

She paused in the kitchen realizing he wasn't there she grabbed a soda and took a few slips. She smiled when she seen movement in the living room and she stepped around the bar.

Kraven: " Good Afternoon Darling"  He turned and smiled at her

Tess: " Were you able to sleep" she asked  

Kraven: " A little" he paused  " Come" he offered his hand

She took his hand and he pulled her to him. 

Tess: " where are we going" she rested her head on his chest

Kraven: "It's a surprise"  He grabbed his shades off the bar 

She paused and smiled and pulled away from him. She went back into the kitchen and grabbed a pill bottle and took two pills and a slip of her water. She went to hall closet and pulled out a black plaid button up shirt and tied it around her hips in case she got cold. 

Tess:" I'm ready" 

He grabbed her keys off  the coffee and pulled her out the door locking it behind them. He placed her keys in her black pocket as he hugged her. He walked her down to the parking lot and stopped at his bike and watched her and he handed her his helmet.

Tess: " So your the owner of the Harley"  she ran her fingers over the handle bars and she took the helmet from him.

Kraven: " Does this make you nervous" He smiled 

Tess: "No" She got on the back of the bike and wrapped her arms around him" 

He started the engine and backed the bike out of the parking spot. He felt her hug him tighter and it made him smile as they rode into the night.
