Lost in darkness

chapter 12

Kraven pov- He laid her lightly on the couch and made sure she was comfortable. He noticed she was still bleeding and without thinking he traced one of his fingers over the cut and letting a few drops of blood stain his finger and places it in his mouth. He licked the blood from his fingers giving in to his vampire urges. Then he places a band aid over her cut so he wouldn't be temped to take more blood from her. He already crossed a line for having a taste but there is nothing he could do about it now. He reached for his shades so he could cover his eyes and sat in the chair across the room watching her as she slept.

Her blood was sweet like honey the taste still in his mouth. He had drank from many morals but none had tasted the way hers did. He once heard a few of the elders say that a vampire will know if they ever found their soul mate because that's persons blood will be like no other that they have ever tasted. He was 180 years old and he had never came across blood that didn't leave a cooper after taste in his mouth until now at least. Tess's blood was as sweet as honey and if he wasn't careful the beast in him could drink her dry if he wasn't careful .

Tess pov- She could feel the world spinning as she opened her eyes unsure of where she was. The only light came from a few candles but other then that the room was pitch black. The last thing she remembered was she was walking back to her apartment from the trail and after that she was drawing a blank. She closed her eyes hoping it would make her dizziness go away.

Kraven pov- He Didn't move from his chair when he noticed she was starting to come to. He stood after a few minutes and sat on the edge of the couch beside her giving her some room so she wouldn't freak out when she came to.

Kraven: " Don't worry your safe" he said softy watching her

Tess: " Where am I " she finally opened her eyes and started to sit up, she saw a shadow sitting beside her but was unable to see who it was.

Kraven: " you passed out and I didn't know which apartment was yours so I brought you to mine" he moved a little closer so she was able to see his face in the candle light.

Tess: " I didn't mean to cause any trouble Mister Grades " she smiled lightly as she watched him, her mind was still foggy.

Kraven: " no trouble at all I'm just glad to see your ok " he wasn't thinking
and he lightly patted her hand to comfort her "This isn't the classroom no need to be so former"

Tess: " Kraven" it felt weird as his name left her lips " why are you wearing shades"

Kraven froze unsure of how to answer, he so wanted to tell her but now wasn't the best time so he would bite his tongue for now.

Kraven: " it doesn't matter" he took her hand in his lost in thought

His touch was chilling but she didn't pull away and she wasn't sure what this all meant.

Tess pov- She sat letting her eyes wonder around his apartment. She wasn't sure how long she had been here and she knew she would need to head home soon. She was almost feeling like her normal self her dizziness way almost all the way gone now. 

Kraven pov: He sat in silents still holding her hand which she seemed not to mind him doing so. He knew his eyes had changed back and he pulled his shades off and places them on the table. He looked at her and he found him self felling for this girl in front of him and he knew he was kidding him self. There is no way in hell she would fall in love with a beast like him and he didn't blame her. 

Kraven: " I think we should call it a night" he didn't want her to leave but he knew the sun would be raising soon 

Tess: " I was just about to say the same thing" she smiled and stood up

Kraven: " May I walk you, so I know your home safe" 

Tess pov: She was still holding his hand and she smiled nodding. She wasn't ready to tell him goodbye so she agreed to let him walk her home. 

The walk home wasn't long she only lived a few apartments down from kravens and he didn't let go of her hand the whole walk.
