Chapter 18

Tess: " how do you turn someone"

Kraven: " I will have to feed off you till your almost drained of blood and then your have to drink from me" there was sadness in his voice.

Tess: " what happens after that" she paused 

She needed to know even if it was awful, If she was going to be with him she needed to know what would happen if she choose that path.

He didn't want to tell her the details but she had the right to know.

 Kraven: " you will feel like your dying, then your body will go thru the change. It be the worst 72 hours of your life, your throat will burn from hunger which can make some go crazy. It will take some time for you to find a new normal if you don't lose your humanity thru the change then your be like me" 

Tess: "I know you didn't have a choice what happened to you." she smiled " So I'm giving you permission to turn me so you don't need to feel guilty when that moment comes " 

He stared at her shocked at what she just said. 

Kraven: "Why would you want that" his voice was cold 

Tess: "I'm already dying so why not die so I can live." she smiled a tear ran down her cheek

 Kraven: "My life is a curse not worth living trust me" 

Tess: " It's worth being cursed to me because then we can be together forever. "

Kraven: " what if you cant love the monster I become when my hunger causes me to loose control."

She leaned up and moved so she was sitting in his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck and stared into his eyes. " I promise that wont happen" 

Kraven: " how can you be sure" 

Tess: "I'm not sure what being in love is like, but I remember what you said about what it means for a vampire to find their soul mate." she smiled " I know your my soul mate even though you have only been in my life for a short time" 

  Kraven: " Are you feeling better" 

Tess: " Yea I'm feeling better, I'm sorry I didn't make it to class "

Kraven: " I guess your teacher will let it slide this once" he said with a cocky smile" 

She laughed at him.  

He stared at her throat and leaned in and kissed her softly on her neck. She could feel his fangs trace across her skin sending chills down her spine. " Go ahead " she said as she wrapped  her arms around him. He stared at her for a few moments before he closed his eyes and slid his fangs deeply into her neck. She let out a small moan of pain as she closed her eyes. Her blood was warm as it ran down his throat which brought his soul to life and he pulled away licking the blood from his lips. After he was done he softly kissed the small bite mark he left on her neck " I love you darling" he whispered in her ear. 

Tess: "I love you to" she opened her eyes and stared at him
