Lost in darkness

chapter 10

Tess pov- The next morning when she woke up she felt really weak and she had class that night. She went back to sleep hoping she would feel better. She still wasn't feeling that great when she woke up but she figured she would still go to class. She got dressed in a deep dark red short sleeve dress and her black flats and went down stairs and grabbed her essay from the printer. She still felt really weak so she thought it would be best for her not to stay for class and just turn in her essay and get her assignment for next week. 

Kraven pov- He parked his Harley and pulled out his bottle and downed it in a few seconds and then placed the bottle back in his bag. He was dressed to same as he was the other night when he had class, black dress pants and a white button up shirt the only difference was tonight he didn't grab his tie. He walked into his empty classroom and sat at his desk and waiting for his eyes to change to their normal color. When he heard foot steps in the hallway he pulled his shades out of his bag and put them on so no one would see his red eyes. 

Tess pov- She pulled into the parking lot and slowly made her way to talk to her teacher and tell him why she wouldn't be staying for class. She paused in the door way kind of glad she was the only one in the class besides the teacher. She notices he was wearing shades inside who was she to judge when she had her own health problems.

Kraven: " May I help you" he turned and looked at her as she entered the class room

Tess: " I just wanted to talk to you before class got started " she paused thinking someone came into the classroom but she was hearing things.

Kraven:  " Did you have problems with the essay" as he was talking he could feel the burn in his throat slowly return.

Tess: " I just wanted to tell you I wouldn't be staying for class tonight and wanted to turn in my essay and find out what is due next week"

Kraven took her essay and watched her jump a little when her finger touched his. " May I ask why that it"

Tess: " I don't know if you were told but I have EPP and sometimes I don't feel well enough to come to class"

Kraven pov- " so your the one that called herself a vampire" he said that with a evil kind of laugh. He shook it off and pulled out a packet and handed it to her.

Tess nods " In a way yes" she thanked him and started feeling dizzy and she left the classroom just as a few students entered the class. Once she was in her car she tried to calm herself down and when the dizziness passed she drove home and went inside and changed in her pj's and went back to bed.

Kraven pov- Watched as she left the room and as other students filled the classroom. Once he felt like his eyes had faded back to a normal color he removed his shades and started teaching the nights lesson and passed the packet he gave to Tess before hand. The bell rang and students packed their stuff and left the class. He sat back down deep in thought for a few moments, he didn't know this girl but he felt the need to get to know her. He knew the dangers of getting close to this human girl but she might be the one of the few people who could understand him. He grabs his bag and hoped on his bike and headed towards home.
