"I don't think so General Organa," Ren said.
"You see the First Order has other plans."
"What!" Rey said stunned.
"Now, now scavenger. You played your part admirably."
Just then, the Knights of Ren reappeared.
"Commander, everyone is secured. What of these Rebels?"
"Put the scavenger on board. Secure her in my chamber. The General and her soldiers are free to leave to fight another day."
Leia looked up at her son. She placed the hand gently on his arm before squeezing it. He looked down at her. It was brief, she almost missed it, but there was a slight smile on his lips. This wasn't finished. Not by a long shot she thought.
Rey was being led out, and she wasn't going quietly. "Your a traitor. You make me sick! You're worse than Hux, worse than Snoke...worse than Vader."
"I guess I'm finally redeemed myself as the true grandson then." Ren replied before signalling to his Knights to take her to his ship, before Ren followed them out.
The rebels stayed looking stunned. Unsure what had just transpired. Why were they still alive.  Leia took charge and led them back to their ship before the senate took them into custody after this 'charade'.

Ren walked on board his ship. The remainder of the Knights had taken to their transports with the family and Jedi.
He was alone on the ship, with his only passenger, a very, very angry woman. Her mind was too...open...there was no other way to describe it, and this was the only way to manage matters. For now, the best place for her was to stew in his quarters.
He set the coordinates to the same heading as Hux.
Hux had gone too easily, the plan had gone too smoothly. Why? Especially given when one looked back at past events, such grandiose plans like blowing up the Death Star or destroying Starkiller Base, you could argue had gone equally easy. It all came down to the preparation. The Death Star had seen years of work and preparation by Galen Erso, before the plans were thankfully received by the Rebellion, by his mother when she was even younger than he was now.
Equally, luck had played some part in the destruction of Starkiller Base, with the defection of FN2187. An old man had once said to his father and uncle, "there's no such thing as luck." But Ren had to wonder. His father would have put it down to luck. His father...who had given his life for his son in the ultimate sacrifice. He had finally freed himself of Snoke's power over him. But it had cost him. He would be reviled for ever, he was grateful that his mother however had finally learnt the truth. It was one of the reasons he had been able to rejoin the Rebellion despite the many protests from the rest of the rebels. Leia had convinced. Now she would have to endure the questions which came of the decision he had made. It would take a few hours before they reached Hux. It was time to face the music. But today luck was not to be on his side. Everything then went black.

~~~ One week later ~~~
"Get your hands off me!"
His hands lingered, as her body trembled against him. Her words fighting against her heart.
"I said, ..."
"I heard you, and yet your body tells me differently", he said, as his hand slid down her arm. She involuntarily pressed herself into him, at his touch, but she bit back.
"They only thing my body is telling you, is your touch disgusts me!"
He kept a his hands on her, and leaning down he whispered in her ear, "I don't think so scavenger."
She felt his warm breath on her skin, and yet from him nothing.
She tried to pulled away, looking up at him, as he straightened to his full height.
"You feel nothing," she said, her eyes almost pleading as she looked into his.
"Careful scavenger." He said in bemusement.
She turned her back on him, ashamed, before her anger flared at being made to feel inferior. She turned again to face him, before she took steps towards him, jabbing her finger at his chest saying, "I may be a desert scavenger, but I'm a survivor."
He finally took her hand in his. She tried to pull it away.
"Let go of my hand!" She said.
"No. Oh, and just so you know, you are my scavenger." He pulled her forward, and kissed her.
Neither expected the electricity jolt when their lips joined.
