Chapter 7

It's been a month since Mathew broke up with me. I'm still broken, but with Conner being such a great friend again, I'm slowly healing. We've hung out everyday and gotten to know each other again. In fact, we're going to the park today and are currently walking there.

"Lilly?" Conner asked as we walked into the park.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Have you been happy these past few weeks?" He asked.

"Conner, I have had so much fun with you. You helped me through all the aching in my heart and are so good to me. You were my friend when I needed you most." I assured him. What was he going at?

"Well, Lilly, this might sound insesitive after your breakup with Mathew.." he hesitated. "Well I was going to tell you before I left for boarding school, and now you're back and all.."

He took my hand in his and sighed. I raised an eyebrow and looked into his eyes.

"Lilly, I love you."

My eyes widened. I let go of his hand and backed up a bit. Oh my gosh. What was happening? Has the world gone mad?! My best friend just proclaimed his love for me a month after my scarring break up with Mathew. What do I say? Do I still love Mathew? Do I love Conner back?

"Im sorry. I know it's stupid. You still love him and-"

I made up my mind suddenly and went back up to him, pulling his face to mine and kissing his soft lips. And for a moment, the world stopped turning. It was just us, and this kiss.

Bloom's POV

I stormed with the girls into Red Fountain. We were forcing the boys to take us to Mathew. Lilly was a totally different person now. She has nightmares every night about being abandoned and forgotten by this jerk. She loved him with all her heart and then he gets jealous and brakes it with a few words. We all intended to give him a good lecture and if Stella didnt restrain me last night I might've come here sooner and spelled him. Mathew was going to pay for breaking my little sister's spirit.

Sky, Riven, Brandon, Timmy, Helia, and Roy met us in the hall outside their dorms. They all jumped when they saw us.

"What?" I asked them.

They were all looking at me. Sky stepped forward and told me about my flaming hair before calming me down. I assured them I was okay to go on with our little mission and that I wouldn't kill Mathew in the process of interrogating him. The boys led us to his dorm quickly. Stella pounded on the door and when one of Mathew's dorm mates answered she lost it.

"Hi is Mathew here?" She asked quickly.

He nodded and we rushed in. Sky pointed out his room before leaving the dorm to wait in the hall. Aisha barged into his room and we followed after her. Nomally I would knock but nothing can stop an angry girl. When we spotted Mathew at his desk I cleared my throat and he jumped up.

"Bloom?" He asked. "What are you doing here?"

"What am I doing here? What am I doing here?!" I shouted. "I happen to be here because of your horrible choices in life Mathew. How DARE you hurt my sister like that? What did she do to deseve the pain you put her through?!"

"I dont see what I did wrong!" He yelled and I felt my hair burst into flames again but he didn't flinch. "Lilly loves that guy!"

My mouth hung open. "Are you that stupid? Lilly doesn't love him! He is just her friend. They aren't dating and if they do, it will be your fault. Because you gave up the best thing that ever happened to you."

"Wait, they havent started dating and she doesnt love him?!" He panicked. "Then there's still time! I can save her from him!"

"What are you talking about?" Flora asked.

"I did some reasearch on this guy." He told us and rushed to his desk before flipping his laptop open. "I found out who his parents are. His dad was a sorcerer and his mom was a witch. He used to go to Red Fountain but was expelled for some reason. He is dangerous and Lilly doesnt know."

"The information is accurate." Tecna confirmed worriedly.

"We have to get to her!" I shouted.

"But where is she?" Musa asked.

"She's going to the park with Conner!" I remembered and nearly passed out. "Winx! Bloomix!"

"Timmy has a pocket portal to Earth." Tecna told us and we flew out of the dorm with Mathew following.
