(Picture of Lilly above^)
A month later. (Bloom's POV)
I dragged myself out of bed and used the wall for support.
"Bloom! What are you doing? You're ill." Mom shouted and ran to me.
"I have to go find Lilly." I said. "The girls told me what happened. I can't just let her starve in the forest."
"You have to. You are forbidden from seeing her again. She was banished." Mom said.
"How can you say that?" I gasped. "We just got her back and then you go and banish her!"
"Your father and I ha to do what we had to do." She said and helped me to my bed before leaving.
I laid in bed thinking of my sister how hungry and cold she must be. Then I saw it. There was a figure standing in the corner. A cloaked figure whose devilish smirk was the only part of the face that I could see.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"No." The person said. "The question is, who are you? I thought you would go after your sister."
"I want to." I said. "But I'm too sick. I wouldn't last a day in the forest."
The person smiled and pulled another cloak from his or her satchel. They handed it to me.
"This will keep you well for three days. Do not take it off or you will become I'll again." They said and walked back to the corner. "Go find your sister."
And then the person disappeared. I looked at the cloak for a moment before pulling it on. Then, with a puff of smoke, I was in fairy form and I could stand. I smiled. I'm going to find my sister.
(Lilly's POV)
"You can do this." Selena said. "Just don't think about it."
I tried to focus. I tried to do it. But I couldn't.
"I can't do it," I told her and placed the bunny rabbit on the ground. "It's innocent."
"That's your weakness, Lilly." She sighed. "You think everything is innocent. But that's so wrong. Nothing is innocent."
"Can we take a break?" I asked. "Let's break in somewhere."
"Where?" She asked with a smirk. "Alfea? Red Fountain?"
"Red Fountain." I said. "I need to talk to someone."
"Well let's get going then." She said and I transformed.
She opened a portal and we arrived at Red Fountain.
"So what's the plan?" She asked. "I cause a distraction, you talk to him?"
"Good plan." I said. "I need ten minutes."
"Great." She smirked. "See ya soon."
Selena flew down to the gates and began casting spells at them, causing the guards to see what was happening. I then flew to Mathew's window. For the fifth time this week. I have been watching him a lot, thinking about his life, but I haven't talked to him. Until today. He wasn't in his room so I unlocked the window and stepped inside. I heard talking in the room over.
I walked around his room, looking at his bulletin board and desktop and computer. He had maps of all kinds littering his room. I leaned against the wall and waited for him to come in. After a moment he came in an slammed his door. He didn't see me and sat down at his desk. His hair was a mess and by the way he was pulling at it, I could tell he was stressed.
"You know," I started and he jumped up. "I thought you would keep this place nice without me."
"Lilly." He breathed. "You're here."
"Yes, I'm here." I said.
He walked toward me and stood right in front of me."You look different." He frowned.
"Yeah." I smirked. "My wings change all the time. I didn't even know that was possible but now a days I do a lot of things I thought were impossible. Like this."
I waved my hand and the flowers next to his bed caught fire. I smirked admirably at my fine work.
"Why would you do that?" Mathew asked and went to put the fire out.
"Who cares." I shrugged.
"Helia will care." He told me. "Helia asked me to keep them safe for him to give to Flora. Now what am I supposed to tell him?"
"Tell him to dump Flora." I said and his jaw dropped.
"Why are you saying these things?" He asked.
"Flora didn't stick up for me. Neither did Musa, or Stella, or Tecna, or Aisha." I told him.
"But they're your friends!" He reasoned and I shook my head.
"Not anymore."
Suddenly a rock flew through the window. I groaned. That was the signal to leave quickly from Selena.
"I have to go." I said and stepped away from the window.
"Lilly wait!" Mathew called and grabbed my wrist.
"Mathew let go of me." I said and attempted to get him off of me but his grip was too tight. "MATHEW LET GO!"
Suddenly, Sky walked into the room.
"Mathew what was that noise? The winx-" he stopped when he saw me.
I looked behind him and saw Musa and Bloom in fairy form. They walked into the room.
"Lilly." Bloom smiled. "We are so happy you're okay!"
She came closer to hug me but before she could, Mathew let go and I took the chance to back up. I backed into the corner and Bloom looked confused.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"You abandoned me." I said. "All of you."
"Lilly I was still sick. I couldn't move." Bloom said.
"And now your better. And you can go on not caring about me like Faragonda and Grazelda." I told her.
Another rock flew through the window.
"I'm leaving." I said and tried to step toward the window but Bloom grabbed me.
"I won't let you go." She said.
"Yes you will." I said and my hair burst into flames with my burning red eyes.
Bloom stepped back and gasped. "What happened to you?"
I went to the window and stood on the ledge. "Oh Bloom, everything has happened to me. And so much more is about to happen, just you wait. A storm is coming."
And with that I flew from the window and into the dark forest with Selena.
