Three years later.

"Mathew!" I called and ran through the palace of Linfea.

My new home.

Our new home.

Get the hint? Mathew and I got married about ten months ago. Right after my graduation from Alfea. His parents, or at least his mother, chose to step down from the throne when we gave him the news about a month after our wedding. The news that I'm pregnant. Yes yes. But anyway, I ran, or wobbled down the hallway of our private corridor of the palace. I called out for my husband and soon enough I found him in his study talking with his father.

"Lilly what's wrong?" Mathew asked and his father rolled his eyes.

"Lilly, this is highly inappropriate. We are discussing urgent matters in my son's kingdom. Just because you are queen now does not mean that you can-"

"I don't have time to deal with you right now!" I snapped at the former king. "I'm going into labor."

"Oh my god." Mathew said and took my hands in his. "Are you in pain?"

"Yes I'm in pain now let's get to the hospital." I groaned and clutched my stomach.

"Mathew!" His father yelled. "This is urgent!"

"This is even more urgent, dad!" Mathew snapped back and led me from the room. He called for a servant to bring a wheelchair and someone came quickly to my aid. I was pushed at fast pace toward the infirmary of the castle.

Two hours later

I wiped the sweat from my forehead and panted. Gosh, labor is hard. But soon enough it was all worth it. I smiled as I stared down at my beautiful prize. A happy, healthy, sleeping baby girl. Mathew sat beside me in a wooden chair and kissed my forehead before kissing our baby's forehead.

"Want to hold her?" I smiled and he shook his head. I giggled. He was nervous to hold her. "Go on. You won't drop her."

I supported her head and handed her over to my husband. He bit his lip and held her with extra gentleness and care. I smiled and looked at my baby.

"What should we name her?" I asked.

"How about we name her after a flower like her mother?" He asked and I smiled.

"I wonder... Princess Rose of Linfea?" I asked.

"It's perfect." He said. "Rose."

"When will her introduction party be?" Mathew asked.

"I don't know. Let's have it as soon as I can walk. I want all of the magic dimension to know about my baby Rose." I said and Mathew handed her back to me.

"So a week then?" He asked and I nodded and brushed the small amount of red hair out of my daughter's face.

There was a knock on the door and before anyone said "come in" my entire family charged in. I laughed at my parents and how they didn't even say hello before obsessing over their fourth grandchild. Bloom had her baby a few months ago. Another girl, along with a twin brother. Daphne had a boy a year ago. Speaking of my sisters, they both came in as well with the winx.

"Girls!" I squealed and they giggled.

"Baby!" Stella yelled.

"Yes Stella, it's a baby." I rolled my eyes.

"I was talking about you!" She laughed. "Your like my little sister and now you've had a baby."

I laughed and Rose started crying.

"Oh no." I said and cradled her. "Shh Rose."

She was just starting to go back to sleep when Tecna gasped. "Her name is Rose?"

And the baby was crying again.

One week later

"People of Linfea, family, friends." Mathew started his speech. "We are here today to celebrate the coming of a new leader. My daughter, your princess: Rose of Linfea."

I stood and reached into the diamond encrusted cradle that sat beside the thrones. Mathew's father objected which is another reason I wanted to put it there for the ceremony. I lifted Rose out of it and held her close to me. The crowd cheered and Mathew nodded to them.

"Now, please, continue celebrating." He said and everyone went back to the party.

When he walked over to me and the baby Rose started crying. I sighed.

"I think she's cold." I said. "I'm going to take her outside for a little bit to warm up."

He nodded and sat down on the throne as I walked away. I went into the courtyard with my screaming daughter. We sat on a bench under a cherry tree. It was beautiful with time of year. But the week old child in my arms didn't seem to think so.

"You don't like parties huh?" I smiled at her and she blinked up at me. "Me neither. They were never really my thing. I was always skipping them with your father or running away from them in an alternate universe. Wow. I never thought I would say that. Especially to my daughter. On a magical planet. In a magical realm. In a magic dimension. Gosh, my life is so weird. But apparently that's completely normal to people in this world. People like my family, your father, even you will be like that. You will probably-"

I stopped when I noticed something I hadn't noticed before. A birthmark. This birthmark was not just any birthmark. It looked like one I had seen before. One that I had seen three years ago. On the girl that helped me out of the after life she... How? That couldn't have been my daughter. I wasn't even married to Mathew yet. How could she be so grown up if she were my daughter? On one hand, there could be a reasonable explanation. On the other, I notice that they have the birthmark, the dark red hair, and the girl who helped me cried when she saw my live for Mathew. To me, this sounded much more reasonable. I don't care how it seems impossible. That was my daughter. She is so beautiful. I smiled down at the baby who would soon become a lovely young woman.

"You will do wonderful things." I whispered to her and kissed her forehead. Everything was perfect. And then it went wrong when I heard an all to familiar voice.

"Hello Lilly." Icy said.

I stood up and held my baby closer.

"Haven't s-seen you for a while, Icy. H-how are you?" I ask nervously.

"Great. Other than the fact that you've been thwarting my plans of glory ever since I met you." She glared at me. "But no matter. I have new plans now."

"And what are they?" I asked.

"I am bringing back an evil so powerful that not even you will be able to stop me. With the help of my ancestors, I will bring back the Dark Days." She laughed evilly. "Enjoy playing mommy for as long as you can. Because in an instant it will all be gone. And this time there will be no survivors."

And she vanished. I ran back inside and Mathew stood when he saw me crying and running from the gardens. He came running to me and the orchestra stopped playing, bringing everyone's attention to us.

"What happened?" He asked.

"I-Icy." I choked. "She was in the courtyard. She said she is going to do something terrible."

I leaned into his chest and cried. The people at the party started to worry and whispered amongst themselves.

"What did she say?" Mathew asked and stroked my hair. Everyone at the party quieted at the question to listen in.

I looked up at him. "She says that she will bring back the Dark Days."

The party went to chaos. People were asking each other if it was actually possible for the Trix to bring back the days where Domino, the planet of fire was nothing more than an icy wasteland. And I said nothing. But I knew the answer. Yes. It is possible. And I don't doubt for a minute that there will be no survivors.
