Chapter 8

(A/N: I know you guys hate me for giving you that massive cliffhanger so I quickly typed this up for you! I hope you like drama because this chapter is packed with it.)

When we arrived at the park Lilly and Conner were just entering. They walked a bit further and we hid in the trees near them. We couldn't hear what they were saying. Suddenly, Conner said something that shocked Lilly.

"What did he say?" I asked.

"He told her he loves her..." Musa gasped.

"Now he's saying he's sorry and that it was stupid- oh my gosh!"

Lilly ran toward him and kissed him. I shot up and ran between them, pulling them apart.

"Bloom? What the heck are you doing here?!" Lilly yelled.

"I'm here to protect you!" I told her and shot a blast at Conner.

He jumped back and landed on his feet. He sure did learn a few things at Red Fountain.

"Bloom stop! Stop it!" She yelled.

"Lilly, he's a specialist! He's been lying to you!" I told her and continued to shoot at him.

"Bloom stop it!" She screamed. "Stop now! Winx Believix!"

She transformed just as I finally hit Conner. He went flying against a tree. He tried to stand up but couldn't. I walked toward him but Lilly got in my way.

"Back. Off." She demanded. "Now."

I backed up and the girls came up behind me. Lilly ran to him.

Lilly's POV

I rushed to Conner's side. He continued to try and get up.

"Don't do that." I told him. "You'll hurt yourself."

He smiled up at me. "You- You're a fairy?"

"Yeah." I said. "What was Bloom talking about? She said you are a specialist."

"I found out I was a specialist when my dad told me he was sending me to boarding school." He told me. "He showed me that he was a sorcerer and didn't give me a choice on wether I was going to Red Fountain. I wasn't aloud to tell you where I was so I didn't write letters or anything. I hated it there and got expelled so I could come back and see you."

I smiled at his and brushed a strand of hair away from his face.

"I never expected you would be off back in Magix when I got back." He laughed but coughed.

"I'm so sorry Bloom did this to you. She was just trying to protect me. I guess she didn't think I could handle anymore guys lying to me." I apologized. "Let me help you up."

I pulled him to his feet and we smiled at each other. Someone cleared their throat behind me and Conner glared at the person. I turned around and gasped. Mathew was standing about ten feet away from me.

"Lilly I am so s-" he started but I didn't let him finish.

I stormed right up to the boy who broke my heart and slapped him.

"How dare you speak to me?" I shouted with tears rolling down my cheeks. "You come back after weeks and try to tell me you're sorry?! Do you know how much heartache you have put me through?! I have nightmares every night about being abandoned and left behind in that parking lot! And to make it worse I scream and wake up my family and my friends and they have to come running into my room and calm me down! I will never be the same Mathew! And that's your fault! You broke me into pieces and right as I'm gluing myself back together you come and shatter on me all over again!"

I turned around and cried into Conner's chest. What was I going to do? And suddenly, it started to rain.

"Lilly I'm so sorry. And I know you won't believe me but I love you so much. I love you more that anybody in the entire world. There's a reason behind our breakup. You need to know that-"

"I don't care Mathew! Saying you love me isn't going to magically fix this like our other fights. You broke up with me a month ago and now you choose to come back? Maybe if you had come running back to me in that parking lot after I collapsed and told me that we would still be together but it's too late now. I've moved on I hope you're happy." I cried and ran off through the park in the pouring rain. It was empty now and everyone had gone.

I heard countless shouts of my name as they all came chasing after me but I kept running. I finally stopped and looked back at Mathew and the crowd that was still running to me. I saw pain in his eyes I suddenly became dizzy. My heart was pounding. I have him one last look before I fell to the floor and passed out.

Bloom's POV

Lilly just stopped and looked at us. She looked at Mathew and a single tear rolled down her cheek. Oh no. I had a bad feeling...

Her eyes rolled to the back I her head and she fell the the ground with a thud.

"LILLY!" Conner yelled and bolted even faster to her.

He laid her in his arms and held her close. We all got to her and gathered around. Everyone was panicking Mathew stayed silent but there was fear in his eyes.

"EVERYONE CALM DOWN!" Aisha screamed. "She's breathing. She just passed out. It's not like she's gonna die."

"We have to take her back to Sparks." I told them.

"Sparks?" Conner asked. "Wait...no. You guys can't be-"

"Yes! Bloom's a princess and Lilly's the lost princess!" Mathew yelled at Conner.

"Don't talk to me like that." Conner told him.

"You don't love her! I love her! I bet you don't even know her favorite color." Mathew spat.

"Her favorite color is pink, she cries in sappy movies, her favorite thing to do is riding, her favorite animal is her kitten Pearl, if she could go anywhere in the world it would be Peru, and she hates mirrors because she thinks they are labels to young girls." He spilled. "I know her better than anyone. I love to run my fingers through her hair and making her smile. I would do anything or be anything for her. She has come to me in some of her worst moments and I've ben able to make her happy when all she could do was think about you leaving her."

Everyone was quiet. Even I didnt know some of those things about her. Mathew glared at him. He then looked down at Lilly and kissed her cheek before Conner could stop him.

"Goodbye." Mathew whispered to her and left.
