Chapter 21

I stormed up the straits of the dormitories with my fists balled and my jaw clenched. Selena followed behind me.

"I'm done," I said and kicked our door open. "So done."

"I don't know what happened to you but I like it." Selena smirked.

"What was the incantation we learned in History of Dark Magic?" I asked her and opened my trunk.

"You're not doing what I think you're doing." She scoffed until I pulled two candles from under my bed. "Lilly, you can't be serious. It's illegal."

"I've done illegal things before." I said and placed the candles on a stack of books. I went back to the trunk and pulled out a sheet of paper that Selena had given to me the first week of school. It read the ingredients that I needed to make a potion to give up my wings.

"But your wings are everything to you." She said.

"They were." I nodded. "But I need to give them up if I want to summon them."

"But they are truly evil." Selena said. "I of all people know that."

"I'm surprised Selena." I said and lit the candles. "I thought you would like what I am doing."

"It's cruel." She said. "And I do like it. I'm just worried that you won't."

"It's too late now," I said and suddenly my wings vanished from my back. A cloud of dark smoke appeared. And the trix stood before me.

"Who dares to summon us." Icy spoke. "We- Lilly?"

"I need your help." I told her.

"You want our help?" Darcy asked and looked around. "Where are we anyway?"

"Cloud Tower." I answered. "Our dormitory."

"So you're a witch now?" Stormy laughed at me.

"Yes. I am." I snapped and Icy smirked in admiration. "By the way, this is Selena, my roommate. And like I was saying, we need your help."

"Why would we help you?" Icy asked.

"I think you will like my proposal." I said.

"And what of you want us to do?" She asked.

"I want revenge on my sister. I want revenge on my family." I said evilly.
