Hey guys! I know what you're thinking right now. Why is this so short? Well, I can kind of explain... ok I don't have any excuses. It's just that I'm super tired ok? And I was getting kind of distracted yesterday so I made the chapter short last time and I just wanted to even things out. This is still in Krys's Point Of View. Anyways, I'm done ranting for now.
                              Enjoy!

                              ............
                              Krys's P.O.V
'Jace was the last person he trained... and he died.'
James's words keep bouncing around in my head. After James had dropped that bomb on us, he decided to continue on with his tour and Kaiden decided to come with us, while Luka guided Yuri back to her room. I was in my room now and lying in bed after a nice breakfast.
Thinking about what James had said. From how he said it to how he looked, it seemed like he knew this Jace character. Hell, from how broken-hearted he looked, they could have been best friends. I'm still laying in bed when I hear a knock come from my door. I get up and walk up to the door and open it to find Kaiden.
I just scowl and was about to slam the door in his face when he jammed the door open with his foot, preventing me from closing it. He starts glaring at me so I decided to keep glaring at him. Eventually, he decided to look away and finally talk.
"Drager is looking for you." His gruff voice bites out in annoyance.
His annoyance at me only makes mine grow bigger.
"Why?" I ask, my voice clearly annoyed.
I don't what it is about him, or anybody for that matter, I just always get annoyed.
'Maybe I'm bipolar, but wait, I'm almost never happy. Ok then it's not me.' I think to myself.
                              "It's time for your training"
Kaiden's gruff voice snaps me out of my thoughts. I look up and see that he's not lying. I nod and shut the door on him. I turn around and yell at the door.
"Let me change and I'll be there." And then go searching into dressers to find better clothes to change into.
I decide to search in dressers that I haven't bothered checking before and find a bunch of black yoga pants, black and teal athletic shirts, and fingerless gloves with grips on the palms.
I grab one of each and quickly change into those. I then proceed to put on black socks and black and teal running shoes. See a theme here? I then finally put my hair up in a ponytail and open the door to still find Kaiden leaning against the wall opposite of the door.
                              "Ready to go?" I ask.
He just nods and starts walking towards a direction that I think is the training room.
'Oh boy, here we go again.' I think to myself.
                              ..........
"Uhhhhhhhhh..." I groan as I open the door and walk inside of my room, back from training. I fall into the bed and decide that a nice soak in the bathtub will help soothe the burning in my muscles.
So with my mind decided, I slowly and painfully get up and limp my way towards the bathroom. I turn on the faucet in the never used bathtub and soon steam starts rising up and filling the entire room.
When the bathtub is filled, I add some lavender oil that was just sitting there on the side of the bathtub. I then proceed to strip out of my sweaty clothes and then throw them into the hamper, before finally sinking into the warm water in the bathtub.
My muscles instantly relax and the burning throbbing pain, calms down to just a distant sting every time I move too quickly. The lavender scent that wafts up with the steam calms my mind and I think back to the hell that Aaron calls a workout.
We started easy, with stretches. Then he took me outside for the first time in forever and led me to a park that was practically empty. He then made me do laps around the huge pond in the middle of the abandoned park. He kept making me run until my breakfast ended up in the bushes.
He then apparently took pity on me and made me jog all the way back to the building by myself. Let's just say that I got lost for a few hours, but then eventually managed to make my way back.
Once I was back, he took me up to the training room once again and continued to torture me by making me continuously do push ups, pull ups, sit-ups, crunches. Anything you can imagine.
To say I was exhausted was an understatement and we weren't even doing the training with actual weapons! He said that since I was already somewhat fit, I only had to do this for about 2 weeks and then we could continue onto actual weapons.
I was so relieved when he said I was free to go. I limped all the way back to my room and here I am now, sitting in a bathtub with water that is now starting to turn cold, so I quickly lather soap on and wash it off. I then hop into a shower to actually get clean since I'm somewhat of a germaphobe.
I take a really quick shower, which included washing my hair and other things of the sorts and hop out. I wrap a towel around my shivering body since it was fall in London and therefore getting quite cold, even inside with the heaters on.
I quickly dry off and put warm clothes on. I decided to skip dinner since I didn't want to walk all the way downstairs. I just then proceed to brush my hair and brush my teeth. I walk out of the bathroom and was about to collapse into the bed to fall asleep when someone yet again knocks on my door.
I mumble curse words all the way to the door since this person was about to mess with my beauty sleep. I open the door to find Kaiden there with a tray filled with food. I just looked at him shocked at the fact that he apparently brought me dinner.
I then decide to mask the shock on my face with indifference since I didn't want him to think that this actually affected me in any sort of way.
"What is it?" I ask him completely ignoring the fact that he had brought food and that I was really hungry.
"I, umm, noticed that you weren't in the cafeteria for dinner so I thought that you were really tired and decided to bring you dinner." He says really awkwardly.
I just nod at him and take the tray out of his hands, mumble a thank you before trying to shut the door. Emphasis on the word trying. He just holds the door open with his hands, all the while looking like he wanted to say something really bad. I eventually get really annoyed and just ask him about it.
"Whatever it is you want to say, spill it. I'm extremely hungry and you're getting in the way of my eating time." I say to him.
That's when he decided to speak up.
"I just want us to be friends. I didn't have the intention to annoy you at all costs and make you think I was an asshole. I feel like we should be at least civil with each other if we're going to be carrying out missions with each other." He says the words like he's been keeping them in for a while.
I just nod and say, "You know what? I think you're right."
As soon as he hears me say those words he looks really surprised at my answer. And right at that moment, my stomach decides to remind me that I'm extremely hungry, so I just roll my eyes at Kaiden and close the door in his face.
I then eat my dinner at the desk in the room and fall asleep in the bed with a full stomach, remembering the look of shock on Kaiden's face.
                              ..............
Finally done with this chapter! It took me even longer since I decided to be nice and write an even longer chapter than I meant for it to be. It took me twice as long since my sister was distracting me the entire time! Anyway, don't forget to please vote and comment! It really makes my day! And with that I hope y'all have a great day or night, depending on when you're reading this!
