this is, you guessed it, a twitter thread! but i follow loads of twitter thread accounts, including @funwrita where i get most of my threads, and they post great conspiracies, so yall are just going to have to deal with it.
the theory is that denver airport is built on top of the underground illuminati headquarters, and that it's just cursed in general.
the denver international opened in february of 1995. it was 16 months overdue and $2 billion over budget. the entire airport cost $4.8 billion to make, when in comparison los angeles international airport cost $613 million. denver airport is huge, but it's been said by so many that they have no idea why it was necessary for the airport to be that big.
the first sketchy thing about the airport is that they didn't even need a new airport to begin with. the denver airport that existed before the current one was completely fine. there was nothing wrong with it and it was in a good location in denver.
the second sketchy thing is that the new denver airport isn't even in denver. i'm serious. they decided to build a four billion dollar airport and put it in the middle of fucking nowhere. the new airport wasn't necessary and it wasn't easily accessible like the old one was.
construction workers claimed they were so far behind because they apparently built 5 huge multi-storey buildings wrong. they were told to bury the buildings underground and build on top of them. other construction workers said that there is a complex underground tunnel system under the airport that they built around those buildings as well. the airport staff says that the underground tunnels are used for "storage purposes", but the construction workers said you could live down there. there's working electricity and it's almost like apartments.
another thing that ties in with the illuminati is the artwork throughout the airport. and it is weird.
