Chapter 9
~ Nina ~
Niall and I were sat on the bench swing, right outside of our venue, looking out at the water, during cocktail hour.
The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold.
The sun reflected off the calm water, creating a glistening effect.
"This view is almost as beautiful as you, Mrs. Horan." Niall said, wrapping his arm around my waist, pulling me close to him.
I blushed, leaning my head on his shoulder, the bench swinging slowly.
"Thank you, Mr. Horan."
It feels amazing to know that I am now married to Niall.
If you asked me two years ago if this was in my future, I would've said no because I thought I would never have a happy ending.
Niall is changing my world, one action, kiss, and day at a time.
"I never thought my life would be like this. This good." I said.
"Well, now it is. I guess this calls for the saying 'Never say never'." Niall chuckled as I giggled.
"You're such a dork."
"But I'm your dork. And you love me."
I kissed his shoulder before looking into his eyes, getting close to his face.
"You're right, I do love you."
"Mhmmm, I love you too, baby." Niall whispered.
He closed the gap between us, attaching his lips to mine, kissing me passionately.
I heard the snap of a camera behind us, and we both turned quickly.
I sighed when I saw Harry and Emily standing next to the photographer with smirks on their faces.
Thank goodness it wasn't paparazzi.
"Let's go lovebirds! We've got to start this party!" Emily yelled.
I smiled and they went back inside, clearing out of the room along with everyone else and into the reception room.
"You ready?" Niall asked, standing up and holding his hand out for me to take.
My hand was placed in his as I stood up, walking hand in hand with him.
"Love you."
"Love you too."

"Introducing, for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Horan!"
The big, sparkly doors were opened, revealing the reception room, and Niall and I walked in, holding hands.
I was absolutely gobsmacked when I saw the room.
Of course I knew what it was going to look like, but with everyone there, I guess it just made me love it even more.
The round tables were covered with soft cream colored table cloths, silver chairs all around them that had the same cloth woven in then which made it look elegant.
I loved the centerpieces, Jenna and I worked really hard on designing them one night.
They were three clear vases filled with water, each one shorter than the other, with pebbles at the bottom, on top of a square of blue LED light.
There were three balls of crystal jewels on the square too.
They were beautiful.
There were glass jars with cut open glow stick splatter inside that Niall and I stayed up late one night doing.
It was a cool idea I found online.
The room was illuminated by white, blue, and purple lights.
Hanging off the bottom of the balcony over the sweetheart table were a bunch of crystal rain drops that reflected off all of the light and made it look amazing.
It actually almost brought tears to my eyes by how beautiful this whole room was.
"If you would all now divert your attention to the dance floor, the bride and groom will now have their first dance as husband and wife." The DJ said.
Niall and I walked down the two steps and made our way to the dance floor.
Ed Sheeran walked up the stairs to the balcony, grabbing a microphone.
Niall placed his hands on my waist, while I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"You look so wonderful in your dress. I love your hair like that. The way it falls on the side of your neck. Down your shoulders and back." Ed sang.
Niall and I swayed softly to the sound of "Tenerife Sea", our eyes never losing contact.
Pictures were taken of us as we had out first dance.
"This is the start, princess." Niall whispered.
"Thank you for always being there for me. You're the best husband ever." I whispered back.
I was nervous in the beginning because I didn't want to fall, but just looking at Niall and having him hold onto me made me feel secure.
He wouldn't let me fall.
He's got me safe in his hands.
"Should this be the last thing I see? I want you to know it's enough for me. Cause all that you are is all that I'll ever need. I'm so in love. So in love. So in love. So in love."
It was a soft, gentle song that Niall and I both asked Ed to sing for us.
He was delighted and said he would be honored.
I love his music, it's just so wonderful.
All too soon, the song ended and so did our dance.
"I love you." Niall whispered while everyone clapped and cheered.
"I love you too."
He kissed my lips softly until we both walked off the dance floor and over to the sweetheart table.
Our dinner and everything came out and we ate.
We had the coolest things for desert!
In addition to our cake, we had a s'more station and make-your-own-ice-cream station.
Guess who came up with that.
Niall.
Gotta love him and his appetite.
Once we got to the cake cutting, Niall and I walked over to the table and grabbed the knife, together.
We cut into the beautiful, white, 5-tiered cake with edible crystal jewels on the bottom, middle, and top tier, and blue ribbon tied in a bow on the other tiers.
The cake was cut but then, I grabbed a handful of a slice and smashed it on Niall's face.
Bursts of laughter were heard as Niall wiped some of it off, smiling.
"C'mon, baby. I want a little kiss." He smirked.
"No, no, Niall!" I shrieked, laughing lightly.
His lips landed on mine, his tasting sweet.
He pulled away and I felt a little frosting on my nose and lips.
"I had a feeling you would do that." Niall chuckled.
After that, it was time for some speeches.
This ought to be fun...
Greg was first to talk, making his way to the microphone.
"Now, where do I begin? Niall, I remember when you were little claiming that girls had 'cooties' and they were icky."
Everyone laughed including myself as Niall started to blush.
"Look at you now! You're married to a girl!" He said. "Now, I decided to spice things up a bit and I wrote a little song. I've got Ed to help me by playing the guitar."
"Oh, no." I heard Niall mutter.
Both guys walked down to the dance floor, making it easier to see Niall.
(A/N, Guys, I know it's a song and I wrote it myself-it sucks, I know lol- but I tried to put commas and periods wherever there was a rest so just try to sing along. Worst comes to worst, read it as a poem.)
Greg pulled out a paper and Ed got set with his guitar, strumming lightly.
"So here we are, on this day. Safe to say Niniall's here to stay. Many days, still to come, filled with joy and lots of fun. But I've written this, just to say. I always thought Niall was gay. Hasn't anyone seen the way he runs?"
I nearly spit out my champagne when I heard him say that and burst out laughing along with anyone else.
Niall was hiding his face behind his hands, shaking his head.
"The facts were shown when girls had cooties. He didn't like how they had boobies. But truth be told is. I really think Niall likes ..."
My eyes widened and I laughed even harder than before.
"Here's a toast to Nina and Niall. Their relationship will make you smile. It's their special day and they're celebrating in the best way. I think it's nice but I also think he is gay."
Niall started to laugh a little with everyone else as all eyes were on him.
"It all started on Christmas Day. Niall was two and I was eight. Presents were opened and the day met an end. He was still upset he didn't get a doll named Ken. I was gobsmacked and full of shock.
I was almost certain Niall once got ... clocks. Dude, pick up the slack, everyone will know, that you like to strip your clothes. It's fine I guess, for a shower, but then we hear guys, getting louder. But I don't assume, cause we don't really know."
Okay, I'm going to have to write a song with Greg soon, this song is gold.
I could not stop laughing.
"Here's a toast to Nina and Niall. Their relationship will make you smile. It's their special day and they're celebrating in the best way. I think it's nice but I also think he is gay. Now you all may think that this is funny, but I'm telling you Nina, don't get comfy. I hate to be the one to say, but I think our Ni could be gay." Greg finished.
Everyone in the room, even the staff, started to cheer and clap for him while he bowed.
"Love you, little bro!"
"Hate you, big bro!" Niall joked.
I wrapped my arm around him and laughed a little bit more.
"Oh my god. Niall, I need to write with your brother sometime." I giggled.
"Not if it's any more songs like that."
Greg walked over to us and gave Niall a hug.
"Hope you liked it." Greg joked.
"It was alright. Nina wants to write with you now." Niall said.
Greg came over to me and also gave me a hug.
"Thank you, Greg. That was the funniest best man speech I've ever heard." I laughed.
"Glad someone liked it."
He made his way back to his seat and the laughter die down.
The night isn't even over and it's already been the best night of my life.
