The room was dark and cold... Still, he moved forward... No, he ran forward.
He wrapped his arms around something soft and gooey. Yet he didn't care. He liked it. No... He loved it. The demented, dominating aura it gave off soothed the aching fear and anxiety that had formed in the smaller's gut, the aura was like a shield to everything else... The perfect and loving shield.
"Cross, get off of me." A deep, barbarian voice growled, it sending shivers down the smaller's spine.
"But Senpai, I haven't seen you in forever." He whined, hugging the other tighter.
"Let go of me!" The monster screeched, shoving the innocent monster off of him.
The pale monster landed harshly on his tailbone, looking up at the blue eyed creature. The cyan blue colored darkened, nearly turning violet, with anger and disgust.
"Don't touch me again, you filthy slim." He growled lowly.
"Look who's talking." Cross's mouth moved, but it wasn't in his voice... It was in a young child's voice...
"I don't care, Chara! I don't want him touching me." The gooey monster growled, waving his hand dismissively. "Now leave. I'm busy."
The pale monster nodded, tears brimming his eyes, but he ignored them. He couldn't be seen as weak in front of the other's eyes... Not like crying would've done anything about it.
Quickly, he left, not wanting to disturb the other anymore. Even though he didn't want to disturb the other, he still wanted to be near them... They calmed him, even if they didn't treat him well.
"Hehe, I don't get why we keep you around." A monster with a hole in his skull grumbled, smirking a bit, they seemingly appearing out of nowhere. "Boss should just let me break you bit by bit and have you for a snack." He purred, his red eye filled with insanity.
"No. Senpai won't let you do that to me. I'm just as important as you." The short skeleton growled, his voice deep and dark, it was different from the one he used with Senpai... Very much different.
"Whatever." The monster with the hole left, seemingly tense.
Cross didn't know why, but didn't really care, he just wanted to go out for a bit... Maybe visit one of his other friends! The ones that don't want to kill him every second...
Walking down the dark hallways, it seemed as if something was trying to suffocate him... He having to fight against some unknown force... It started hurting...
"Cross, you asshole!" A voice shouted, pain flaring in his ribs.
The white skeleton stumbled back, blinded by the darkness. Why couldn't he see?
More pain appeared as well as laughter... It was coming from all around...
"S-Stop..." He whispered, falling to the floor. He didn't want to fight... He couldn't fight... "S-St-Stop!" He screamed, covering his head.
'Cross, let me take over! I can protect us and make them pay!" A soft, young voice called out. Their voice alone soothed him... Yet, he knew what they meant...
"N-No... STOP!" He screamed, the pain almost consuming him, but not killing him.
The laughter didn't end, it grew and grew... It was worse than the pain in his body... He couldn't take too much more...
"Enough!"
Cross jolted up at the last word, tears streaming down his face. His breathing was coming out rigid and swift, the heavy thing in his chest pounding against his ribcage like a hammer.
He was starting to feel light headed, so he took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down... It was just a dream... A dream he couldn't remember... Still, he didn't care... He didn't want to remember the dream... It terrified him...
"Let's get moving..."
