Confused

The white skeleton walked towards the end of Waterfall, going to someplace named Hotland. He never really stayed in one place for too long, something telling him to move and he always listened to it.

Before he was there, however, the world started to fade away. Gravity was no longer a thing... The world fell away turning into a place of both darkness and of light... The odd combination that never made sight, never evening out. Though, the odd thing was, it was like he was seeing everything, but it was just flying by him so fast he couldn't make out what the image was.

Cross opened his eyes, completely confused. He had never felt something like that before... But what made him even more confused was what his eyes were looking at... He was looking up at what seemed to be rocks... Jagged ones at that and they were made to be like a roof... His rocks never were able to do that...

Sitting up, white powdery things fell off of him. It felt cold to the touch, but it was soft...

"Snow?" He whispered, slowly standing. His legs felt heavy, but also wobbly. Kind of like the stuff he found in the Snowdin's Inn's fridge.

His mismatched eyes looked around the area, becoming more confused by the second...

He was surrounded by tall, green trees covered in snow. The area was cool against his bones, yet it was familiar...

Carefully walking around, he looked beyond the trees and saw a small town. The sign read Snowdin...

Furrowing his brow he wondered what that meant... Had he gone back in time? Or was this another universe?

The second thought made him shiver. He didn't know where it came from... He didn't know anything about what was going on...

The buildings weren't like his own. They were well done, no holes or rotting wood or molding bricks. They weren't falling down or threatening to. People were walking about, laughing and talking, making jokes to one another.

The air was filled with joy and laughter, it made Cross give a gentle smile. Something inside of him stirred at the feeling, but he didn't really know what it meant. He felt their happiness and joy, their hidden desires to see true light and to have peace with the humans... But he didn't know what it meant.

Taking a deep breath, the white skeleton hid in the trees. He knew, whether or not he should follow that thought, that he shouldn't be seen by them. That they'd try to hurt him..

Shaking his head, he summoned his knife. He felt like he was going to need it for what he was wanting to do, even though he didn't know what he was wanting to do.

Taking another deep breath, he raised his knife and slashed down. A deep red line appeared where he had hit, like whenever he had swung the thing. Instead of the line fading away, random codes and numbers appeared from the cut.

Somehow, he didn't react to the sight, it oddly felt normal...

He took some of the coding and numbers, copying them so the place wouldn't fall to what had happened to his home. He didn't know how he knew what to do, but didn't question it. He must've done this all before... Meaning that it had to be okay... Right?

Once he was done with what he was doing, copying almost all of the coding, a weird large, red X appeared behind him. It was opened up to his Waterfall... The area where he was once walking.

Sucking in some air, he walked through the portal and landed lightly on his feet, of course he was a bit off balance. The giant X sealed itself off, leaving the confused monster alone with the codes of the other world's Snowdin.

Shrugging, he made his way back to his Snowdin. He made the same slice as he did with the other Snowdin, it showing the sparse coding.

Slowly, he put in the copied coding, changing some bits of it to where it felt right. When the coding was in place, trees and buildings started showing up and the already existing ones would become fixed and look brand new! Of course some bits were vanishing after it was placed, but at least about half of it stayed.

A small smile spread across his lips as he fiddled with something. It went green and then returned to the white on black text. His smile never faded away as he went into Grillby's. He was getting a bit hungry.
