"Alright, Cross! Let's get to training!" The eyeless murderer cheered, a bright smile on his lips.

The white wearing monster just nodded, confused on the concept of training... He didn't know what it was, but he was preparing himself for something that would hurt... Why, you might  ask? Well, he doesn't know, like everything else.

The innocent monster followed the more sinful ones as they lead him to the training room, which was about the size of a football field if you add twenty more feet to it.

Near the entrance to the room was a large rack of weaponry, discarded armor, dummies, and a few tables for food and refreshments to be placed.

The entire room had a glass ceiling allowing sunlight to light the area up and the floor was just grass and concrete, though the concrete areas were more off to the side and for a more serious fight.

"Wow..." Cross whispered, his eyes widening with wonder as they gazed around the room.

Horror rolled his eyes at the other, crossing his arms as he heard Killer give a gentle giggle.

"Come on, lets get this going." Dust muttered, rolling his eyes at Horror.

Grabbing a broadsword, Dust walked onto the large part of the lush grass. He motioned for Killer to join him, which he did by grabbing a grasscutter sword.

"Alright, since your weapon seems to be a large knife, your gonna need to know how to use a sword." The insane monster told as Cross watched the two, enthralled with how well they stood.

"Don't forget to keep your eyes on your target, you glance away, even for a second, they can kill you." The crying skeleton warned, lunging at the other, who blocked the attack.

The skeleton with the target on his chest jumped back after the swords made a harsh clash, some sparks flying to the ground.

Instantly Dust thrusted his blade at his opponent. Killer expect this, so he dodged and lunged once more.

"Always look for an opening in a fight," He called out as he and the taller's swords became interlocked. "And go for it." The smaller skeleton grunted out as he struggled against the other.

"Don't forget to watch your own back as well." The more grey colored monster hissed, kicking the crying one back, his sword falling to the ground. "And use whatever you can as an advantage."

The dark Sans slashes at the defenseless one who easily ducked and rolled out of the way, grabbing his sword once more to block another attack from the taller.

When their swords met, it was a harsh metal scraping against one another as more sparks flew.

After that last attack, they both stopped and stood up.

"You understand?" Killer asked, worry on his face.

Cross nodded his head slowly as he let what they had said sink in. They wanted him to learn how to fight, but he didn't want to hurt anyone...

With that mind set, he stayed quiet. He didn't want them to think that he was taking their kindness for granted, that and he really did want to know how to defend himself.

"Alright, we'll have you go against a Papyrus guard since they're the easiest." The motherly menace told, giving a sweet smile. "Don't worry, nothing bad will happen to you, we'll be here to make sure the guard doesn't try to really hurt you."

The white wearing monster nodded, trying to give a reassuring smile back, but it was clearly forced.

Still, the others ignored it and let him be as one of them got a Papyrus guard to train with.

It only really took a few minutes to find one and bring it back, the goopy thing being ready for training.

It's soft eyes landed on the timid monster, so the goopy solider smiled sweetly at him.

"Don't worry, little one! The Great Papyrus won't hurt you!" The being called out in a loud voice, making the younger wince softly, but nod nonetheless.

The solider summoned a large bone attack as his weapon, Cross shyly summoning his blade.

No one wince, glared, or said anything, Killer just motioned for them to go onto the grass.

Instantly, the solider was in a fighting position as the white wearing monster held a confused look. He didn't know what the other was doing, so he let his body relax, his mind calm even though his soul started to beat faster.

"Fight!" Horror shouted, the other creature lunging swiftly to the other.

The innocent monster jumped back, side-stepping at the last minute. Raising his knife, it clashed with the very much taller skeleton's bone-sword.

The dark monster easily flipped the other on his back, standing up with the sharp tip of the sword at the other's throat.

"Try again." Dust shouted, rolling his eyes. "Next time move faster, don't wait, just move."

The two got into positions again, Cross's soul picking up speed as his grip tightened on the handle of his weapon. He didn't want to fight, he just wanted to be held and protected...

The Papyrus leaped at the unfocused opponent, but the white wearing monster easily got out of the way, his eyes hardening into hazy X's.

The monster tried to attack again, but the smaller had already taken the advantaged, ending the silly guard's life.

Turning to the other's, they froze softly at the eyes. They were the same eyes as-

"D-Did I-I do be-better?" Cross whispered meekly, backing away from them, his eyes returning to the same circle shape and bright colors.

Killer cleared his throat, nodding.

"Yeah... Though, lets try it again, just so then we know that we can move on to the next step."

The innocent monster nodded, feeling a sense of pride forming in his stomach at the small praise he was given. He just needed to work hard... Then, he can protect himself...

Alone.
