Frustrated

Cross groaned as he woke up in a nice house. He remembered going there after he ate some food. He guessed he used a bit too much magic...

But, that wasn't why he groaned. He was starting to become annoyed with this dreaming thing. He was waking up frightful and angry! Filled with sadness and guilt, but he doesn't even remember why! It wasn't funny anymore! Like it was in the first place!

"Why is this happening? Why is this happening to me?" He growled, hitting his head to try and remember what was the reason for all this!

What did he do in his past that he deserved this! To deserve the feeling of fear and anger! To not be able to remember anything! To be useless and naïve when he knew that would get him killed!

With a huff, he walked out of the house and started to make his way to Waterfall. The calming sound of the river should soothe his nerves, but he knew that was just something he was telling himself... He was just making an excuse to move away from the nearly finished Snowdin... He didn't want to, but he had to... That instinct to move was getting stronger.

Taking a deep breath, he walked down the snow covered road to Waterfall. The place looked much more lively with the trees, but so lonely with the darkened houses and shops.

Shaking his head, he hurried his steps to the area that he knew would help him keep calm. He wanted that... He knew he needed that...

While he walked, he looked around. In some areas of Snowdin, there were missing patches were the coding wouldn't stick, but they oddly didn't stand out as they should've. Sighing softly, he felt like he needed to do something... Anything.

Ignoring the feeling for now, he walked around Waterfall.

Nothing changed, surprisingly. There just was a few more of those Echo flowers, something he was calling glowing blue flowers that echoed whatever he said.

Becoming a bit unnerved, he walked on to Hotland, what he was originally wanting to do. He just had to keep his mind off of whatever was making him so nervous...

Like he should really care, they don't need him.

The thought made him pause...

Why was that there? Who would need him? What was he running from? What was he doing there? Why was he there anyways?

"What's my purpose?" He murmured and like always, no one answered...

He growled to himself, growing more and more angry... Why couldn't he remember anything!

Shaking his head, he knew it was useless to get angry when there was no reason to get angry... Not yet anyway.
