The land was just white... Plain white...
The blandness made the young Cross wince. He didn't like the white... It reminded him too much of what he lost... Of what he no longer could have.
"Oh shut up! You're lucky, you don't have to be a specter." The faded version of the murderer grunted, glaring harshly at the skeleton.
"Well, we wouldn't be in this mess, if you didn't ERASE my world!" He shot back, getting nothing in reply. They knew he was right.
Huffing, he closed his eyes and tried to imagine his home once more... Trying to see all the smiling faces of his friends and family... But the memories were faded now, changing into a horror show of how the kid was able to kill them all off.
"I'm bored." The child moaned in annoyance.
Cross didn't say anything, just sighing as he looked around. He wanted to do something as well... But what was there to do?
They sat in silence, nothing happening, nothing changing.
Soon, the boredom grew too great and Cross summoned the large knife like sword. He didn't want to be weak while he was there. It was better to practice while there was nothing to do.
Anger stole him for a moment and the blade went swinging.
With expert swordsmanship, the monster slashed, cut, and thrusted his weapon as hard as he could, fighting off unseen enemies.
The longer he fought, the more angry he became. Chara just floated bordly as they just simply watched. It was the most fun they ever had since the world was ERASED really.
Then, something happened... When two red line had connected, they split opened into another place... The area was filled with tress, snow and coldness, not that either of them could feel it. It was just weird seeing things like plants when, for who knows how long, they only saw blankness.
Looking back at each other, Cross carefully walked through. He looked around him as the weird portal closed behind him, leaving him in the odd area.
"What is this place..." He whispered, sword at ready for a fight.
"I... I don't know..." The homicidal child held a confused look, fear in their pale eye.
"Well, what do we have here?~" A voice purred, it sounding scratchy.
The two winced, turning to see a tall skeleton, they were clearly a Papyrus... Which confused the naïve monster. His brother was dead... ERASED along with his world... So how was he here?
The white wearing skeleton took a step back, panic filling his soul. Something told him that this wasn't his brother... That this wasn't the Papyrus he cared for...
"Who the hell are you?" He growled, glaring harshly at the other as he let his eyes become X's.
The copy laughed harshly, using his magic to yank the overbearing blade out of his slim hands, pinning him to the harsh, freezing wood of a large pine tree.
"What the hell!" Screeched the terrified monster, eyes wide with fear.
The very much taller skeleton moaned at the sight, swiftly placing a magic inhibitor on the smaller's neck. The thing liked the fear it was seeing, it turned them on even more so. The unknown monster hurriedly pulled the white pants off of the squirming being.
"STOP! What the hell are you doing!" Cross screamed in terror, trying to kick the other off him!
The Papyrus growled, slamming his fist into the smaller's spine, making it crack harshly. A cry of pain sounded as the cruel being finally got the protective clothing off of the shaking monster.
"The fear in your eyes is so adorable~" He grunted, unzipping his own pants.
The red-white eyed creature whimpered, tears gathering in his eyes as he struggled to be freed. He didn't want this!
He was only rewarded with a harsh slap across the cheek, resulting in a jagged cut to appear under his red eye, it burning on his pale bones.
"Quiet." The thing hissed, using it's magic to force the other to form an echo body.
A cry of pain sounded through the forest as something too sinful to speak of happened... Something too painful and terrifying to be remembered...
All Cross could remember clearly, was pain... Pain, anger, agony, hatred... So much negativity... The real memory of what happened between him and that thing in the forest was instantly wiped from his mind, it being forced back into nothing...
When he opened his eyes, he was in an odd building. The ceiling looked liked his, but it was much dirtier, looking ready to fall on top of him if something was to touch it. The room itself was small, having a bit of mold here and there. The floor was wooden and almost rotted. Nothing about the room seemed new and looked ancient.
"Go back to sleep, Cross..." Chara whispered, their ghostly form next to them. For once, their dark, demonic eyes looked human... They were filled with pity, pain, sympathy and care... Emotions that the other thought the ghost was unable to feel. "Please... I won't let anyone hurt you... If they try, I'll take over and fight them, I promise... I don't want you to get hurt, Crossy..." They murmured, tears brimming their dark red eyes.
The skeleton felt tears leave his own as he nodded, he had to trust them... They were the only one he could trust now... The only one that he knew would keep their word to him... The only one...
