As we sat there in the cafeteria, I couldn't help but go into Jessica's mind and look at them. I mean, there was something I could not understand. Why did they look so similar?

She stared a lot, both of them did. But that Isabella girl, she stared the most. Isabella.....Isabella.....my beautiful little Bella. Oh how I miss her!

Hey Ed! Emmett thought and I turned to look at him. A habit of mine I knew I had to get rid of. It's as if someone calls out my name outloud, I automatically turn to look.

Why so weird lately? Emmett asked and I shook my head.

"Hey Ed, why don't you check into what they think of the mysterious Cullen's huh?" Emmett said very quietly, humans wouldn't be able to hear.

I tried to hear into everyone's mind. Skipping over the ones I didn't care about. I heard them all in that table.

Ugh, what a pair of losers. They think they're so high up and everything! Can't believe Jess is making me sit here! I don't like that Isabella girl, Nina seems okay, but Bella, she's very weird. Lauren said, she was quiet, but very judgy of others around her.

Maybe if she'd cut her hair a little shorter she'd look better and- omg! There she goes again staring! Well, who wouldn't? The Cullen's are total hotties! But seriously, good luck to these idiots if they ever think they have a shot. Jessica said and then laughed in her mind. So they were looking.

Has she always been this cute? Damn, I mean, whoever dated these two before are so lucky! They're way better than Cassandra! I mean, that Cassie is cute and all but look at them! Maybe I might get lucky and get to keep one! Tyler thought as he stared at them. He has always been one to try and date the prettiest ones in school.

Maybe if I ask Bella out she'd say yes. Then if I don't get Bella, I could get Nina. I like Jess a lot, but she's just too much sometimes. Michael Newton thought. This boy..... I couldn't see Bella or Nina accepting Tyler, but perhaps one of them would say yes to Mike. What if Bella said yes? The thought of it made me feel wierd.

They're so cute....... wait, what did Mike just ask me? Shoot! I'm staring too much. Eric thought as he was having a conversation with Mike.

Angela looks so beautiful today.... is that a new top? Either way it looks good on her, she's looks beautiful in purple. Ben Cheney thought as he looked at Angela.

I'd like to have more conversations with Bella and Nina, maybe I could ask them if they did any programs in Phoenix? I'm just too shy to ask. Angela thought as Jessica conversed with the sisters.

I tried to listen more, but I couldn't hear anything. Why? Had they left? I looked behind me to check.....nope, still there. I tried to concentrate more. Usually I didn't even have to try. It was as if nobody was sitting there! How frustrating! I thought I only had to deal this with Chief Swan, I suppose his daughters were also impossible to hear. But why? One person makes sense.... but three? Was their mother also silent?

I was starting to get frusterated.

"So?" Tanya asked and I looked up. Perhaps I was losing it. Maybe it was me? I was too embarrassed, but I would talk to Alice soon.

"I can't tell." I shrugged, they only brushed it off. I was glad they didn't ask. Jasper, he kept eyeing me weirdly.

You seem to have expressed yourself a little there, Edward. Jealousy if I may say. I won't say anything, would you like to have this conversation another time? Jasper asked, I looked at him and nodded slightly. Jealousy, me? Jealous of what exactly? Why would I be jealous? Perhaps because these girls could return feelings I don't think I ever could for Tanya. Would that be it? It didn't make sense.
