*Edward Cullen*
"Bella, love? When exactly is the war?" I asked knowing the question pained me. Not as much as the answer would though.
"The second week of my birthday. Here it is technically looked as my birth month rather than day. The whole month is supposedly dedicated to me but no celebration is taken other than on my birth day. The day of the war is December 12th." Bella said looking down. 2 days? It was December 10th, we were returning to Arendelle today.
"Bella, what about your coronation? We haven't done anything about it. I'm guessing it is another celebration?" I asked. Immediately she turned to me and raised her hands. A huge ice barrier covered us from all sides and top.
"I have something planned. I will have to tell Arendelle when the moment comes. I'm.....leaving the throne. At least for now. Its like abdication but not really." Bella whispered quickly while shaking. Wait what?
"I thought you couldn't do that?" I asked and she shook her hand.
"An old law I found that was left to forget. It was lost so it wasn't considered a real law then. I can leave the throne for 5 years, leaving in charge someone. But when I return I must be married, so this will work out. If I don't return by the time those years are up, my throne is automatically taken from me and given to that person." Bella explained to me and held my hands.
"Is that why you said yes when I proposed? To make this law easier? When did you decide this?" I asked confused on why she hadn't told me. I was hurt if she had only said yes because of the law and not because she loved me.
"Certainly not! I found the law days before you proposed, but I didn't want to use it because I was undecided. When you proposed I was somewhat more convinced it could help us. I spoke with father." Bella explained reassuring me of my worries.
"He agreed. We made it official with the lawyer later. I'm sorry, I wasn't allowed to tell you until you were officially my husband. No one outside my father, the lawyer, and I knew about this. The more people know the easier Pitch knows. I would never say yes for convenience, I said yes because I love you. But this is for our safety." Saira said sighing.
"This is good becuase once this is signed and sealed when we return, Pitch won't be going to the throne automatically, he'll be in my place instead. And for him to take over becuase of that law he must be married. He could force someone but he would still need to be voted back in by the Spirit World Council, which are all the Kings and Queens not to mention the elements." Bella said holding my face in her hands. Her hands were slightly cold but didn't bother me.
I nodded and held her in my arms.
"Everything is going to be okay. Things will turn out for us." I assured her and she kissed me. I rerurned kissing her with pouring as much emotion as I could. How I loved her! She brought light into my dark crippled world. She brought happiness to me.
She brought down the ice and we walked out into the carriage. I got in the front with her and held the horses' rope and we were on our way back.
Reaching Arendelle, people waved happily. We waved and then stopped at the palace. We got down and the helpers took the carriage away after the butlers helped get our things out and into our new room. I grabbed Bella's hand and she smiled. We walked on hand in hand as the snow fell above us. I was wearing a coat but Bella was non bothered with a dress. She truly did astonish me.
"Oh your back!" Idun cheered as we walked in.
"How was your small vacation?" Esme asked hugged us.
"It was good." Bella said smiling at me. I smiled remembering our nights.
"Delightful!" Idun said nicely.
