Karaoke pt 1

"Okay well, technically everyone is in summer break. So where do you wanna go?" Alice asked smiling as she was standing next to the stairs. I was currently sitting on Edward's lap with my arm around his shoulders, and his hand on my knee in a nice boyfriend way. If my mother had seen us, she would say it is highly inappropriate and not lady like.

"I've only been a vampire for a few days, Alice." I reminded her. We had only hung out like a normal family. I guess that's what you could call us when we run around the forest, play vampire baseball and they let me arm wrestle Emmett and I win.

"No, Alice. It's too soon." Edward said to her out of no where. "What?" I asked confused. I'm beginning to see the annoyance everyone had when these two talked by themselves in their minds.

"How do you feel about Karaoke?" Alice smiled at me.

"Alice." Edward warned. A karaoke? Ooh.

"Oh shut it." Alice said to him smiling.

"I mean...... sure. I've never been to a real karaoke before." I smiled and Alice nodded.

"I found one in Port Angeles. You'll love it!" Alice smiled.

"Does my opinion not matter?" Edward asked her a bit irritated.

"Edward, it's fine. It'll be great, I'm in." I nodded and Edward sighed.

"Great. We'll go at 7pm. Get ready! With a good dress! Meanwhile, the rest of us are going to go hunting." Alice said walking away. Not long after, we heard everyone leave, leaving Edward and I alone.

"Why don't you wanna go to the Karaoke?" I asked while playing with his hair.

"You're new to this, Bella. You've shown control but I wouldn't risk it." Edward said looking up at me.

"I'm fine. I promise." I said and kissed the tip of his nose. I dragged my lips down his jaw and he smiled against me.

"Bella, I know this is your vacation and everything but I have a few doubts I would like you to answer me." Edward said and picked me up. He carried me at human pace up to our room.

"Of course."

"In the Spirit World, I heard many call me the future King...... is that what I'll be? A King while you become Queen?" Edward asked me not making eye contact. If he were human or a spirit, he'd surely be blushing. Exactly what I didn't want. Everyone to start telling Edward what he'll be. Will he doubt our relationship after I tell him? Surely not, I knew Edward loved me for me, he wasn't Hans.

"No, dear." I said and paused. He looked at me a little relieved.

"Um, if you were from Royal blood, and you married me, then yes, you would automatically become King. Over powering me, my father would then give you his power. I would take my mother's place and stand by your side but you'd make most decisions." I explained as he walked up the stairs.

"Is this why Hans wanted to marry you? Because he knew he would become King?" Edward asked and I nodded.

"In our case, you are a Human, turned into a vampire. You're not a Spirit nor of Royal blood. If we got married, you wouldn't have any title besides 'Duke of Arendelle' or if you rejected the title, you would simply be 'Sir of Arendelle and the Spirit World'." I said as we reached our bedroom.

"However....... I am the future Queen, if we got married, I could give you those options or...... crown you. I would crown you Prince of Arendelle. In that moment, you would have 'Royal blood' along with our descendents, if we divorced, you would lose that title immediately." I explained as he set me down.
