*Edward Cullen*

"You did an amazing thing tonight." I said to her softly as we sat on the large pillows in her meditation room. Where we could be alone and not bothered.

"You think so? I had been planning it for so long but I was nervous I hadn't done it right." She admitted as she sat in front of me on the pillows.

"You're changing their lives." I said as I caressed her cheek with the back of my hand.

"I want to make the most of it, in my last months." Elsaira said and I sighed. Always so selfless.

"It won't be your last few. You'll win the war and have many more." I said and she smiled.

"I meant as a Princess." She said and I chuckled.

"As a Queen, I can't do the things I do now." Elsaira whispered and I raised an eyebrow. There can't be a drastic change can it?

"There are advantages and disadvantages to both. As a Princess, I have freedom to roam around the town and be more involved. As a Queen..... I have to go to meetings, be in tradework, travel, and host dances." She said looking down.

"Switching subjects, tell me about yourself, I want to know about your human life. If you can remember." Elsaira said curiousity burning in her eyes.

"I could have searched it up myself but I feel like it's better coming from you." She said softly. What did that mean?

"What do you mean search it up? Dianna can show it to you?" I asked confused and she smiled. I rememered her super intelligent computer Dianna.

"Um, no, it's kind of hard to explain...... why don't I show you?" She said standing up. I followed her and she walked to the 4th floor of the palace. A room that looked very far away from everyone. She opened the door and it was a room full of books and papers. Files, yet there seemed to be weird objects around the room. In the center, was a large mirror. The outline was of gold. But it didn't look like a mirror at the same time. Where the reflective glass should be, was actually what seemed to be an image of outer space. So strange.

"This is our mirror. It helps us see an individuals life. It isn't used very often because of privacy. But it was how my parents watched me when I was human." I explained.

"How does it work?" I asked and she smiled.

"Show me Elsaira Moon's Human life." I said and the mirror began to show an image of Bella being brought to our old house in Chicago. I remembered. She was such a beautiful baby. The image showed Esme carrying her, then me, her being dressed by Alice and Rosalie. It skipped to different events of her life.

"As I grew older, my memories were fading. So I would come here and try to remember." Elsaira admitted softly.

"Well then I suppose it can show you my human life. I don't really remember it. As far as I go, I was born in 1901 as Edward Anthony Masen in Chicago Illinois. I was an only child..... I wanted to fight in the war, and I got sick with the Spanish Influenza. That's when Carlisle found me dying, he turned me in 1918." Edward said looking down.

"Do you mind if I search your human life?" She asked softly and I nodded for her to continue.

"Show me Edward Anthony Masen's human life. In 1901, Chicago Illinois." She spoke softly. The mirror immediately showed an image, it was in color, of....... two people. A man and a woman, the woman carried a small child in her hands. It was me. That was my mother.

"That's my mother. Elizabeth Masen, and my father, Edward Masen." I whispered. It was mainly to myself. I didn't remember much of them. I hadn't thought of my human life in so long, it seemed weird to look back and know I even had biological parents.
