Logan was out scavenging. I was here minding my own business, and by that I mean I was...

BORED!!!!

Bored out of my mind. There's nothing to do here and honestly, I can't say I like being this close to where my son died. I remember that day... perfectly. It was my birthday. Logan had just proposed and everything was perfect. Well except for the little cuss that I said but still... perfect. Than Deceit finally came home, broken, beaten, and so very pale. I knew something was wrong, Virgil and Logan both knew and they never let me in on it. I was angry and hurt but when I saw the look on Deceit face... and when he said Virgil was... was... I was hollow inside. I knew I was going to lose him. A father knows when something is wrong with there child, and I... I should have done something, said something. I should have made Virgil tell me what was happening, but I didn't. The worst part of all of it, I never got to tell Virgil goodbye that day, or that I loved him.

Now I'll never get the chance.

I knew Logan was right to bring us here. I knew it hurt him just as much as me. I feel sad that he has to go out there and scavenge, but he refuses to let me do it too. He want's me to be safe. I love him so much. But seriously this is really boring. All I do is sit and do nothing until he comes home. AND EVEN THEN THERE'S NOTHING TO DO. We brought no games, or toys, or anything fun. What I would do to play with a puppy right now.

"Stupid asshole running off. You couldn't wait one more minute, could you? You always do this!! AND I'M THE ONE THAT'S ALWAYS LEFT BEHIND!!" I jumped up and ran over to the window, peeking out of the blinds to see someone rummaging through a bag. "God damn it! I left the important stuff with Ember... and she's with the others protecting them. Why is it always me?"

The kid had red hair, like a natural red color, tan skin, and was wearing all black. He stopped and glanced back, causing me to duck behind the wall. I did see his eyes were blue like mine but lighter, like a pastel blue. Why was he here and who was he talking about?

"Once I get my hands on Princey... I SWEAR TO GOD! Calm down... You can't be getting upset this... is how he is. Just find what you can." PRINCEY!!! Roman's here? The kid picked his bag back up and put it over his shoulder, walking off towards were Logan had gone. I started following him. I didn't who he was but Roman's the only Princey I know of. If they know each other this kid can't be too bad, but I wanted to make sure.

"Maybe if I got to higher ground... I could see more that way! I am so lost." I followed the kid all the way up a building. It wasn't bad it was actually pretty intact. What was hard was, he kept turning around and looking. Like he knew I was here but didn't know where exactly. I don't see how. I was using magic to be absolutely silent. I wasn't even touching the ground, yet he still heard me... no not that. It was just he knew I was there.

"Nothing! Nothing but burnt down ruins." The kid just stared off the roof still in search. Why was he here? "I thought that I would at least be able to see the creative moron. Not even Ember... though she could have shrunk. Damn it." I tried to get closer but I tripped on something and ended up over the roof.

Meaning, I fell off the building...

I yelled and closed my eyes, waiting for the impact of the ground... but it never came. I opened my eyes to the kid looking back at me, very anxiously. He was scared senseless, worried for me. I looked at him closely and my heart just about jumped out of my chest.

"V-Vir...gil!?" He pulled me back up to safety and took a few steps back. I just stood there in utter shock.

"Hey... Dad." He started scratching the back of his head because of the awkward tension. "Long time no see?"
