Damaged~ Broken Book 4

Flashback 6 (A)

"Who the fuck is this?" Deceit's voice rang through the burner. I just shook my head.

"It the guy that just saved your ass, literally. You're still in danger. Virgil's and Roman's rooms have been disconnected but not Logan's or Patton's room."

"I'm not going to listen to some asshole who can't talk to me face to face." I started getting very pissed and the burner started to heat up. I took a deep breath and cooled myself down

"Listen the Onyx are after you and unless you want to end up there next big catch, I suggest to get the fuck out the MindPalace."

"I'm staying and saving my..."

"It's going down whether you're there or not. Leave and live to fight another day!" I said the same thing he told me that one day. I know it got to him because he stopped yelling at me.

"Where do you need us to go?" Roman's voice picked up through the phone. Deceit must have handed him the phone after what I said. I looked around and saw the trail. Logan would have taken Patton into town. They're going to need help if the Onyx spotted them.

"Right now you need to find da... um, I mean Patton and Logon."

"On it!" I watched as Roman ran out of the mind Palace, dragging Deceit behind him. I watched as they ran down the trail until the disappeared from view. I noticed movement from the windows and I took a deep breath. They were going to need time. Guess I have no choice then. Sorry guys...

I jumped off the branch I was sitting on and told Lucas not to move. He nodded and I ran back into the mindpalace.  I walked down the hallway with our bedrooms. I walked into Patton's room and grabbed his family portrait and his stuffed animal. I then set the place aflame, walking out of the room and setting the door on fire as well. I then went to Logan's room. I grabbed his journal, a picture of him and Patton on their wedding day, and his Alice in Wonderland puzzle book. I put everything in my bag and once again set everything on fire. I left, placing my hand on his door and watching as the flames rose up. As I walked away from the rooms, walls had caught so It was like I was walking through a tunnel of fire. I walked to Deceit's room and did the same thing. I grabbed the picture of him, Emma, and me. As well as his pet snake. I was not going to just leave Nagini to burn. I let Nagini wrap himself around my neck like a scarf. It's what he does with Deceit. And AGAIN, set his room on fire. I was going to burn this place to ash. 

I walked back out to the living room the find the same women from before coming down the stairs. She did not look happy. I smiled and place my hand on the sofa. The same sofa I would sleep on. The same sofa Patton would make us watch movies on. The same sofa the Roman fell asleep on me on. The same sofa I just set on fire. I kicked it sending into her blocking her from moving. She went to jump over it, but I snapped my fingers and fire rose higher. I then placed my hand on the wall and slowly made my way to the door, trailing fire as I did. I as opened the door to the outside I could hear the womans screams. I just looked down and left.

"Time to go help those idiots out some more."
