I teleported into the living room and next thing I know I'm being slammed into the tv by a very pissed off Deceit. Ok, I guess I understand why, but still. Get the fuck off of me. I grabbed ahold of his arm and He hissed. I waited until he pulled back, finally feeling the burn I was giving him.
He looked back at me about ready to attack again, when two members of Onyx ran in. Geez, how members did they bring here? I pretended to tip a hat, I was not wearing, at Deceit, then I grabbed the tv remote and chucked it at one of the members. He grabbed it but failed to see the punch I threw at him in time. He fell like a bag of bricks. The member next to him pulled out a gun. I dodged, hitting the gun to the side as he shot it. I grabbed his arm, twisted it, and forced it onto my knee, causing him to let go of the gun in pain. Still holding onto his arm I high kicked him in the chin and he fell out cold next to his friend.
I turned just in time to catch a knife as it was thrown at me. Fucking Deceit, can't you see I am trying to help you? I tossed it in the air, caught it by the blade, and threw it at the member that somehow managed to get behind Deceit, stabbing them in the chest before they could do anything. Deceit spun around as the person fell, crashing onto the table as they did.
"I'm on your side dumbass." I said as Roman rounded the corner sword poised to fight. Your a little too late Princey. Deceit just hissed again, obviously not trusting me. I understand. Random people are attacking and some random stranger in a god damn mask shows up out of nowhere, I wouldn't be very trusting either. Of course, I'm anxiety so... And he's Deceit, Yeah it makes sense.
"A, YOUR ALIVE!?" Lucas ran out from behind Roman and pulled me into a very aggressive hug.
"Yeah, I am, thanks for the vote of confidence."
"I'm sorry it's just your earpiece cut out and I got so worried and then Roman said his door was gone and that it was on fire and that people were..."
"L! Shut up." I smiled and L relaxed. Deceit was talking to Roman, who was gripping the handle of his sword so hard his knuckle were white.
"We have to go, L."
"What? We can't they still need..."
"We will, but from a distance. We'll direct them to a safe zone through a burner. I need to go." I can't risk myself even more. They're safe for now and if the onyx got ahold of me the entire mindscape would be in jeopardy.
"But..." I summoned the shadows to me and blasted them at Lucas, teleporting him outside. Deceit and Roman look back at me. I toss them a burner and do the pretend hat tip thing again, before teleporting myself outside as well. "What the hell A!?"
"Follow my lead..."
