Do know one of those moments in life when you are like 'what the fuck?' and you try to confusingly analyze them but you keep going in circle and you can't really figure it out.
Well one of those moments is this, my brain just couldn't seem to understand that this is time for sleeping, not overthinking or thinking in general. I kept trying to fall asleep but it was just not happening.
I felt like my mind was not cleared and it was like a terrifying storm inside, I kept replaying some scenes or embarrassing moments. And I decided to stop my torture.
What am I going to do now? I won't have time to sleep all day because we need to go see the beauty of Prague. And I'm not missing it. What is it with me and my sleep schedule recently?
When we decided to leave the party a few hours ago we all came back together and figured we needed to get some nice and comfortable sleep in a bed because the next days we won't exactly be in a hotel, we are night driving.
So right now I'm staring at the ceiling and I'm actually waiting for the time to pass faster. Like that's gonna happen you loser.
I actually haven't checked the time yet but I can't reach my phone. But wait, crap, my phone's not here. I lost my precious phone.
Oh, I didn't actually lose it. It's in Asher, I gave it to him, I don't remember when. Well, if I want to survive this night and not go crazy I'm gonna need my phone. I can think of a million things to do on it.
I'm just gonna get it from their room, I mean, I'm just gonna silently come inside and take it.
Let's just hope it's not locked.
I quickly exited the room and entered the empty freezing hallway. It's almost summer, why is it this cold?
I quickly opened their door. Thank god it's not locked. I have to admit that I'm feeling like a criminal. The first thing I saw was darkness and I just tried my best not to murder myself or hit an actual wall.
Okay I need my night vision now, I spotted what I think is Asher's head and I approached his nightstand.
"What are you doing?"
I jump in surprise and slowly turn around to face him. "Did I wake you?"
"How could you wake me? I've been standing here, watching you tiptoe throughout the room, trying so hard not to laugh at your deeply focused face." He whispers.
I cross my arms. "Very funny, Damon."
"You didn't answer my question."
"You asked a question?"
He laughs. "I think so. Gosh, I don't know what's wrong with my mind."
"I feel you, I can't even put the thoughts on pause."
He points his index finger towards me. "Oh, but we can."
"How?"
"We distract it. The mind." He trails off. "Do you want coffee? I'll make it."
