"Blake." I repeat for the hundredth time while keeping up with his fast-paced steps.
"What?"
I sigh. "My question, remember. That's how it works. Questions are supposed to be answered."
"What question?" He asks, obviously playing dumb.
I pause and cross my arms, my expression dead serious. "Will my punch refresh your memory?"
He glances at me, his eyes widening when he sees me. "It was a joke."
"A joke works only once, not a hundred times."
He gives me anapologetic smile. "Sorry, but I really don't remember the question."
I scoff. "Have you even been listening to single word I've said?"
"No."
I tap my foot against the ground, annoyed. "That's the last time you'll even hear me talking."
Suddenly a very tall person comes in front of me. "Easy." Damon says, making me raise my head to look at him. "Cut him some slack, he's in the honeymoon phase."
"Fine."
"Now let's get you something to eat." He says, tilting his head towards a place with street food.
So, here I am some moments later, holding a tasty dessert called Tiramisu after sharing a pizza with Damon and Mike. "So this is Italy's famous desert." Mike says, nodding his head in approval.
"It's so good that it makes me almost want to kiss it." I say, pouting when I notice that I've eaten everything.
I hear Damon chuckle before speaking. "Don't get sad immediately, let's get another one."
I shake my head. "You guys go ahead, I can't."
"Why's that?" Damon asks.
"'Cause I plan on sleeping soon."
"Nothing of what you just said makes any sense." Mike says, wiping his mouth with a napkin.
I click my tounge. "Well, I can't sleep with unburned calories, they'll turn into fat cells."
Mike snorts, trying to hold in his laughter. "You're joking, right?"
I roll my eyes. "It's not a joke, it's called an eating disorder."
Damon stands up from the bench we're seated at. "You're acting stupid, Veronica. You have three seconds to stand up."
"Psst, Damon." Blake calls out, trying to hide behind a tree, managing to hide his hand only.
Damon turns towards him, eyeing his poor hiding skills. "What the-?"
"Is it safe to come there?" He whispers, referring to me and my mood.
"Yes."
