Gavin groaned in pain and his head fell forwards onto the desk, clutching his chest. No one in the precinct really cared, not even sparing Gavin a glance. Well, no one except for Connor.
Every time Gavin made a noise of pain, Connor would glance over, his LED flickering yellow. Hank noticed this and shook his head.
"Pay no mind to that asshole, Connor. Whatever pain he's in he deserves it," he grumbled. Connor nodded and went back to typing at the terminal, but every so often he would glance over towards the detective.
After a few more minutes, Connor got up, going over to the break room to the coffee machine. He put a cup under the machine and pressed a few buttons, waiting for the cup to fill. Once it was done, he held the coffee in his hand and made his way over to Detective Reed's desk, placing the coffee down onto it as a kind of peace offering.
"You don't look too well, detective. Would a coffee help?" Connor asked, his head tilted a little. Gavin glanced up at him and huffed.
"Not right fucking now..." he grumbled before putting his head back down on the desk. Connor did a quick analysis of Gavin and found that his heart beat was a little faster than usual.
"Are you alright, Detective?" Connor asked, wanting to know if there was anything he could do to help.
"...I've been having heart pains recently," Gavin grumbled, not lifting his head up to look at Connor. Connor's head tilted again curiously.
"Seriously, when did this start?" he asked, sounding like he was genuinely concerned, but there was a hint of something else in his voice. Gavin sighed, deciding there was no point in lying.
"The pain started arou-" Gavin was cut off by Connor saying something rather unusual for the android to say.
"No, not the pain, the part about having a heart. I didn't think you had one, Detective," Connor said with a small smirk. Gavin lifted his head and glared at Connor, but he had to admit that was rather clever.
"Asshole," Gavin grumbled, making Connor giggle. Connor noticed Gavin's temperature increase when he giggled, his face going a little pink.
"I know I am. Anyways in all seriousness, I would recommend drinking green tea. It will help a lot," Connor said and then picked the coffee back up, "which means you won't need this. I'll get you some green tea." Connor made his way back to the break room, pouring the coffee away and making a green tea instead. Gavin huffed, staring over at the break room and at Connor.
"...fucking android..." he mumbled but there was no bite to his words, only a slight hint of fondness.
