Gavin shuffled groggily into the kitchen, eyes half lidded due to tiredness and his whole body slouched. Conan looked up from his book and watch the tired man shuffle over to the kitchen counter where the kettle lay, beginning to make himself a coffee.
"Good morning, Gavin," Conan greeted, giving him a small smile when Gavin looked over at him. Gavin mumbled a greeting in return and then walked over to the small kitchen table that Conan was sat at, pulling a chair out and sitting down opposite Conan, sipping the coffee gently. It was always in the mornings when Gavin had just woken up that he was at his tiredest, sometimes saying rediculous shits he never means to say, Conan thought it was rather amusing.
"We have the day off today, Fowler sent an email earlier this morning to inform us of that," Conan told Gavin, gaining a nod in response. He went back to reading his book, he preferred to read old fashion books where you actually turn the pages instead of these fancy tech books that you can just swipe your finger across them to turn the pages. After a few minutes, Conan glanced back up to see Gavin just staring at him. He raised his eyebrow curiously.
"Is there something you need?" Conan asked, but the response he got was not what he was expecting.
"Your face is really pretty, I bet the rest of you is too~" Gavin said with a grin, clearly still tired since that's not something he's usually say outloud. Conan's eyes widened slightly, feeling his systems heating up a bit, not even registering the blue that now stained his cheeks. Gavin grinned more, reaching over and poking Conan's cheek.
"Are you blushing?"
"W-What? No..." Conan mumbled, definitely not sounding believable, plus the evidence was on his face.
"Did I really get the ever-stoic, hardcore, total badass Conan to blush~?" Gavin persisted, smirking widely. Conan shook his head, still refusing to admit.
"No... It's... I'm just cold," he mumbled. Gavin raised his eyebrow and Conan knew it was a shit excuse but he was too flustered to think of a proper one.
"Huh, really. You're cold? So it's not because I told you 'your face is really pretty, I bet the rest of you is too~'?" Gavin was clearly teasing by this point. Conan's blush got worse after he'd repeated what he said before.
"N-No!" Conan kept trying to argue his way around this, his voice actually cracking when he said that. Gavin tried to hard not to laugh, quickly leaning over and giving Conan a kiss.
"Cutie~" He teased, grinning more as Conan's face was pretty much glowing bright blue by this point. Conan pouted and looked away.
"S-Shut up..."
