- EXTERIOR POV -
"I'm going to call Rose and Alyssa's parents to see if they know anything and I'm coming," Josh says, changing into jeans and sweatshirt and taking his keys to get out.
"I'll call Teddy and other friends," Shawn adds in the hurry and hangs up right after.
He is freaking out and doesn't know what to do but when he calls Teddy who affirms that she has no news from his lover, it makes it even worse.
Nobody knows where she is. He can't do anything but wait because he has no idea what could have happened.
His heartbeat racing faster, he needs to talk to someone, he needs someone who could know how to calm him down, he needs his best friend.
The phone raised to his ear again, he waits for Geoff to pick up.
At the same time, the game is ending on the field and Alyssa is still stuck in that same room she was in since the beginning of the game. She's hearing some supporters cheering and screaming of happiness following their winning team while the other half is cursing because the second team lost.
She's not even crying anymore, she can't do anything to get out of here so she's just sitting in silence, waiting for something to happen. Jenny is perambulating in front of her and doesn't stop going back and forth.
Alyssa details Jenny and tries to understand the role she took in this business. The blond-haired woman can't stop moving, her hands are shaking and she keeps on whispering things to herself...
Cameron admitted that if he falls, Jenny would as well but maybe she doesn't know anything about this illegal business led by him.
Alyssa takes a deep breath and ends asking the other woman the question that has been confusing her for some minutes now.
"what is he doing?" She asks and stands up.
Jenny stops and looks at Alyssa who pulled her out of some deep thoughts. She shakes her head and seems like she's trying to figures out what she asked.
"What?"
"What's happening?" Alyssa insists but Jenny can't look straight into her eyes. She's fleeing her gaze and starts perambulation again.
"I-I didn't want this, I didn't know all this would happen... I just wanted to take revenge because I didn't realize that Shawn broke up for real. Cameron knew how to convince me because I'm weak... that's it," Jenny reveals to Alyssa, sobbing and hidding her head in her hands.
Alyssa doesn't say anything because Jenny isn't taking part in this whole business. The young lady couldn't get to know anything thanks to her anyway. She's all by herself, and now more than ever. Alyssa sighs and walks to the door, maybe, in a mistake, the man who locked them in here, forget to actually lock them.
"What are you doing?" Jenny asks, wiping her tears but the second that follows, a silence falls in this empty room.
"Fuck" Alyssa says in a sighs. The door is really locked and there's no window in here, just a bulb that illuminates this cold place.
"You can't get out." Jenny says which puts alyssa in a crazy anger.
A knot forms in her throat and tears she's been hidding in the back of her eyes start flowing down her cheeks. She shows her anger by shouting at her. And even though Jenny didn't do anything wrong since they're locked, she can't contain herself anymore.
"I know! I know that I can't get out because we're fucking locked! I don't know when the dumbass who's leading this whole shit is coming back, and you're just here, crying over yourself, wasting your time and mine! How dumb are you to want to 'take revenge', as you said, like this? And I get that you're not mean and that you just do the things in a wrong way but now we're locked and we can't do anything! Even your friend or the one you're supposed to work with, let you here with me! But is he really considering you as a co-worker? I don't know what will you get after this but if your goal was to tear shawn and I apart, you're messing up. This won't break us" Alyssa says as loud as she can and approaches Jenny slowly.
"You already broke up," Jenny notices which doesn't help at all but Alyssa tries to stay calm.
Blaming Jenny wouldn't change the situation she is in anyway so she decide to ignore her until an idea pops in her head.
And what if Shawn didn't understand? What if he thinks that she actually broke up?
Doubts and questions start overwhelming Alyssa when Jenny talks over.
"I have my phone..." she says slowly, as if she wasn't sure of herself but when Alyssa turns back to her with her questioning gaze, she continues. "Call him, do whatever you want with it... I'm just trying to give you a way to get out of here... and I'm sorry" Jenny holds out her phone to Alyssa who looks at her shocked.
Not knowing what to do and if she should believe what's happening, she stands in front of her, trying to read her but all her doubts are erased when Jenny approaches and puts the phone in Alyssa's hand.
"I don't know what will happen to me if Cameron falls but you did nothing to deserve this and I hope that this can be a way for me to apologize for everything..." jenny insists but Alyssa is still looking at her.
Shawn could see how a beautiful person Jenny was and even with her flaws, she caught his eye and she opened to him.
Alyssa is about to take the phone but the door opens at the same time. Jenny's back is facing Cameron who just entered the room.
That's when Geoff picks up the phone to respond to Shawn.
"Geoff, Alyssa's missing. I can't lose her. I can't without her. Geoff I don't know what to do, please tell me that you know" Shawn talks in the hurry, missing some facts and words which confuses his friend more than it explains him.
For the following minutes his best friend tries to reassure him the better he can because he doesn't understand what's happening. He keeps on talking with him, managing to calm him down while he takes his keys to drive to Shawn's place.
Shawn needs his friend. A friend who could do anything for his dude because that's what friends do, right? Taking care of the other when something's wrong. That's what matters the most, the happiness of the ones you love so you do everything in your power to put a smile on their face... even though it seems impossible for them to smile again.
