A Little Different ~ Bughead

Chapter 8

Betty POV

Me and Jughead got to the drive-in and Jughead pulled into a spot in the front. Then he got out of the jeep.

"Juggie what you doing."

"Just trust me. Close your eyes."

"What?"

"Just please. For 5 minutes." He said I looked at him hesitatingly and then he climbed back into the jeep and placed a soft lingering kiss on my lips.

"Please."

"Ok." I said smiling and I closed my eyes after a few minutes Jughead spoke.

"Keep your eyes closed." He said and I heard the car door I was sat next to open and Jughead take my hand. He guided me out of the car and then I heard the other door open.

"You can open your eyes." He whispered in my eyes and saw he'd rolled the material roof of the Jeep down and he put the seats in the back back and he'd put blankets and pillows on it as well.

"I uh know it's not a lot but it's the best I can do."

"It's prefect Jug." I said turning around and kissing him.

"Let's go get some popcorn and stuff." He said smiling then he shut the door and took my hand we walked over to the snack stand and got a big bucket of popcorn and two large sodas the we went back to the car and sat in the back we had to look up threw the roof so we could see the screen we got under the blankets and I snuggled in next to Jughead and he wrapped his arm around me and put the popcorn bucket in between us and the film started which was my favourite film stand by me.

About halfway threw the film we were about halfway threw our popcorn and our drinks were practically empty.

"I'm going to go get some more soda. Do you want anything?"

"Just another drink please."

"Ok I'll be back in a sec."

He said getting out of the jeep. A few minutes later he came back and before he got in the jeep I saw him take a deep breath and then he opened the door and got in and he handed me my drink.

"Thank you."

"Your welcome." He said sitting next to me.

"Hey uh Betty."

"Mmm?"

"I uh I have something to ask you."

"Go ahead."

"You uh don't have to say yes if you don't want to."

"Uh ok. Jug your worrying me what is it?"

"No no it's nothing bad I hope."

"Ok."

"I uh was wondering if maybe you uh wanted to uh.....be my girlfriend?" He said quietly and he looked down I put my hand under his chin and lifted his head up and smiled at him I leaned forward and kissed him passionately when I pulled away I put my forehead on his.

"Yes." I said softly and he smiled at me and kissed me again then we turned back to the screen and I rested my head on Jughead's shoulder and held his hand then intertwined our fingers and enjoyed the rest of the movie.

When the film was over we folded the blankets up and put them in the back seat the we got in the front and Jughead drove me home.

He pulled into the driveway and stopped the car.

"I'll pick you up for school tomorrow like usually?"

"Ok. Thanks for taking me out Jug."

"It was my pleasure."

"I'll see you tomorrow." I said giving him a peak on the lips then getting out the car and walked up to my front door then I looked back at Jughead and saw him still sat in his jeep looking at me I waved and he waved back then I walked into my house and went upstairs and got changed then went to bed with a smile on my face.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing in my ear I hit the snooze button then got up and had a quick shower then I got changed into a random tshirt and blue jeans and then I tied my hair up into my usual ponytail I did my make up then put my shoes on and then walked downstairs I ate my breakfast like usual then there was a car honk outside. I said bye to everyone then grabbed my bag and went outside and saw Jughead sat in his jeep on my drive waiting for me. I walked over to his jeep and got in the passenger seat.

"Hi."

"Hey." He said and I leaned over and gave him a peck on the lips.

We picked up Archie, Veronica and Kevin and we were all drinking our coffee on the way the way to school.

"Hey guys there's a party at Cheryl's tonight. Want to go?" Veronica said

"I'm in." Archie said

"Sure sounds fun." Kevin said

"Uh sure if Jugs going." I said looking at him.

"Mmm. Ok." He said smiling

"Wow. Jughead Jones is actually going to a party!"

"Oh shut up Kev." Jughead said laughing

"So who's driving?"

"Well I think it'd be best if we all got cabs or something." Jughead said

"I'll get my driver to drive us."

We pulled into school we all got out the jeep. I walked round and stood next to Jughead.

"So you never go to party's? What changed your mind?" I said pushing him playfully.

"Well my beautiful girlfriend asked me to go and I couldn't say no." He said smiling I blushed and pushed him again and then he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me to his side.

"You don't have to go. We could just watch movies or something."

"No it's fine I want to go."

I smiled at him and he leaned down and I kissed him softly and we pulled away when we heard someone squeal. We turned and saw Veronica, Archie and Kevin stood there looking at us.

"Are you two together?" She said smiling

"Yeah." Jughead said pulling me closer to his side.

"I'm so happy for you guys. But uh Jughead dose she uh you know."

"Yeah. She knows."

"Well I think you two look adorable together." Kevin said

"Aww Jughead finally got himself a girlfriend."

"Shut up Archie." Jughead said laughing and we all walked into school laughing.
