Chapter 14

Jughead POV

After we watched Jaws Betty had to go. We got up and she only had one box she needed to take down she said she took the others down before I got here. We got off the bed and I pulled her into a hug.

"I'm going to miss you."

"I'm going to miss you too." She pulled out of the hug and got on her top toes and kissed me passionately. She pulled away and went to pick up the box but I stopped her.

"I'll get that." I said picking up the box. I then put it on the bed and she looked at me weird. I grabbed my jacket off of her desk chair and handed it to Betty and she just looked up at me.

"You keep it that way you'll have a pice of me in LA. You always steel it anyway." It's my dark green denim jacket she took it and held it in her hand.

"Thanks Juggie." She said smiling then I gave her a quick kiss then I picked up the box and we walked downstairs. Her mom was already outside. Betty said bye to her family and then we walked over to the car and Betty opened the trunk I put the box in and she put my jacket in the back. Then I turned to face Betty.

"Your definitely coming back in a month?"

"Yes." She said chuckling

"Ok. Call me or text me when you get there."

"I will." She said stepping closer to me and she wrapped her arms round my neck and I put my hands on her waist and leaned down and kissed her passionately then pulled away and rested my forehead on hers.

"I've got to go. I love you."

"I love you too." I said giving her one last kiss on the lips before she pulled away she was about to shut the trunk of the car when she stopped and then opened a box and pulled out a leather notebook and handed it to me.

"What's this?"

"One of my drawing books. You gave me your jacket you can have my book."

"Thank you." I said smiling I kissed her again and she shut the trunk then I pulled her into an embrace.

"Promise you won't go to LA and see you like it better then here."

"I promise."

"Sorry to brake this up bit Betty we need to get going." Her mom said and her mom got in the car. Betty pulled out of the embrace and looked at me. I gave her a soft kiss then she walked round to the passenger side of the car. I stepped away from the car as it pulled out of the driveway I waved to Betty as the car drove out of the driveway and down the street. I sighed and then walked back into my house and went up to my room and started to play on my Xbox.

After a couple minutes I heard shouting downstairs. I put my controller down and stood up out of my chair and walked downstairs and into the living room and saw my mom hunched over a little and my dad rubbing her back as he held a bag in his other hand as they walked to the door.

"Dad? What's going on?"

"Your Mother's in labour we're going to the hospital."

"Do you want me to come with you guys?"

"No you have to stay here and wait for JB to get back from her friends. I'll text you when it's done and we've got your brother." He said shutting the door as they left.

Hours later JB was back and my dad text me to come to the hospital with JB so we both got in my jeep and I drove us the the hospital. I walked over the the reception desk.

"Hi can I help you?" The guy said.

"Yeah were her to see Gladys Jones."

"Ok she's in room......142"

"Thanks." I said then me and JB walked to the room. I knocked on the door.

"Come in!" We heard dad shout. We walked in and I saw my mom laying in a hospital bed with my dad sat next to her why she held a little baby wrapped in a blanket.

"Hey guys come meet Forsythe Pendleton Jones The Forth or Julian." My dad said smiling. Me and JB walked closer and looked at him.

"You guys want to hold him?"

"Yeah sure." I said sitting in the chair next to the bed and my mom handed me Julian. I looked down at his sleeping face and smiled he was so small and he looked peaceful. Then my phone started to ring and Julian started to wake up.

"Shit that's Betty."

"Jughead language." My dad said.

"Sorry. JB I'm tapping you in." I said standing up and she sat down in the chair I was just sat in then I handed her Julian and walked out the room and pulled my phone out and answered the call.

"Hey Betts." I said shutting the hospital room door.

"Hey Juggie. We just stopped at a hotel because were like 4ish hours away from LA but it was getting late. So I thought I'd call you. What you doing?"

"I'm just at the hospital I....." and before I could finish my sentence Betty cut me off.

"Oh my god! Are you ok? What's wrong! I knew I should have stayed! Jug I'm on my way back right......."

"Betty!" I shouted chuckling "I'm fine."

"Thank god. So why you in the hospital?"

"My mom had the baby."

"Awwww. Is he ok?"

"Yeah he fine his called Forsythe Pendleton Jones The Forth." I said chuckling. "Aka Julian."

"Awww. I can't wait to meet him."

"As long as he doesn't try steel you away from me with his cuteness you can meet him when you get back."

"No one can steel me away from you Juggie. I'm going to go my mom just got back with the pizza I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"Ok night Betts."

"Night Juggie. Love you."

"Love you too." I said and then I hung up and walked back into the hospital room.
