Jughead POV

I was sat in a booth at pops with my back on the window and my legs were on the booth and Betty was sat in between my legs and Veronica and Archie were sat across from us and Kevin was sat and a chair at the end of the table. Veronica and Archie's relationship always confuses me one minute there marking out and the next there claiming there just friends so at the moment I think there in the just friends but it's always hard to tell.

"So Jughead How you enjoying football?" Kevin asked.

"Yeah it's pretty fun. Apart from I keep getting really bad hand cramp I think I landed on it funny at practice the other day."

"Well I don't think that's from football it's just because Bettys been out of town." Veronica said smirking.

"Veronica!" Betty shouted and she started blushing.

"Nope that stays the same if Betty's in or out of town maybe a little more when she's in town. You need to learn how to close you curtains." I said smirking.

"Jug!!" Betty said shoving me.

"I'm joking obviously. I'm not a pervert." I said kissing her cheek and she giggled. "That dam giggle is going to be the death of me." I said smirking.

"Are you complaining?" Betty said looking back at me and smiled.

"No I think it would be a great way to go." I said leaning down and kissing her softly.

"You guys are so cute." Kevin said.

"Thanks Kev." Betty said taking my arm that was along the back of the booth and wrapped it around herself and I chuckled and kissed her head.

"Why can't I find that kind of love?"

"You will one day Kev."

"Well I won't find it in Riverside at least not on the Northside. Oo maybe there someone on the Southside I could meet."

"Kevin the people on the Southside are dangerous especially the serpents." Veronica said.

"Who says the serpents are dangerous?"

"Everyone Jughead. There like drug dealers and criminal."

"No there not."

"What's the Southside? And who are the serpents?"

"The Southside is literally just that it's the Southside of town and it also happens to be were I'm from. And the serpents are a gang that runs the Southside."

"And there dangerous."

"No there not."

"Guys can we not argue." Archie said.

I took a deep breath and drank some of my milkshake. After a couple hours of drinking and talking and laughing. I looked at the time and decided I should probably start heading home.

"I'm going to start heading home know." I said sitting up a bit more and Betty moved and out from between my legs and stood up. "Betty do you want a ride or are you staying here?" I asked standing up next to her.

"No I'll come home with you." She said holding my hand.

"Ok bye guys."

"Yeah bye everyone." Betty said and we walked out to my jeep and we got in.

Betty POV

Jughead was driving me home but we missed like 4 turning then we went over a bridge I'd never see or been over.

"Jug? We're are we going?"

"I want to show you something. Is that ok?" He asked looking at me quickly and smiled then looked back at the road.

"Yeah just as long as your not taking me to the woods to kill me or something." I said chuckling.

"No. Nothing like that." He said chuckling.

We drove for a little longer and I noticed this part of town was run down and there was a lot of people wearing leather jackets with something on the back but I couldn't see it. Then we pulled into a trailer park there were some trailers that had motorbikes outside them we pulled up next to a trailer and all the lights were off.

"Come on." Jughead said softly and he got out the car I got out as well then I walked round and stood next to him and held his hand.

"Where are we Jug?"

"The Southside."

"Yeah I gathered that but why are we here?"

"This is we're I grew up. Well till I was like 12." He said looking down at me and smiled.

"So who owns it now? The trailer I mean."

"Me."

"You own this place? How?"

"It's not very expensive like 50 bucks a month."

"And who do you afford that? I know you don't have a job."

"My parents give me 20 bucks a week and my grandparents send me like 100 bucks a month because there like stupid rich because my grandad is good with stocks. Do you want to go in?"

"Yeah it's cold out here."

"Ok let's go." Jug said he walked up to the door and pulling his keys out and opened the door and held it open for me. I walked in. And Jughead turned the lights on and shut the door he then walked over to the thermostat and turned it up.

I looked around and saw it was clean and the curtains in the front room were closed he walked over to them and opens them. I looked around and saw there was an old typewriter on the coffee table and there was a book shelf full of books and there was a few pictures dotted around the place.

"It's nice."

"Thanks." He said smiling softly.

"So you grew up here?"

"Yeah. I mean it looked pretty different back then."

"Well I like it. It's cozy." I said smiling at him I walked over to him and hugged him.

"I just wanted to show you that the Southside isn't all bad. The serpents aren't bad people no matter what anyone says."

"How do you know?"

"Because my dad used to be the leader of them."

"What?"

"Before we moved to the Northside my dad was the leader of the serpents but we moved and he left on good terms with them. I grew up round them there my extended family I still talk to a lot of them."

"Ok. If you say there not bad people then there not bad people." I said hugging him tighter. Then I pulled away and looked up at him and he placed his hand on my cheek and kissed me passionately.
