A Little Different ~ Bughead

Chapter 20

Betty POV

I woke up on Christmas and walked downstairs and everyone was sat around the dinning table eating pancakes.

"Merry Christmas." I said and everyone said Merry Christmas and I walked over to the table and sat next to Chic and my mom put a plate of waffles in front of me.

"Merry Christmas honey." She said as she walked round and sat back down. Once we where done we all went into the living room and there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." I said and I stood up and walked over to the door. I opened the door and I saw Jughead stood there in his usual jeans and tshirt with his light blue denim jacket.

"Hey Juggie. Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas Juliet." He said smiling and I pulled him into a passionate kiss. When I pulled away we where both smiling. Then I let Jughead step in and the house and I shut the door behind him.

"I uh just wanted to give you your present." He said smiling shyly.

"Aawww Jug....you didn't have to."

"I know I didn't have to. I wanted to." He said and he pulled out a pink box with a ribbon on it then he handed it to me.

"Thank you." I opened it and I saw a little silver three pointed crown with a little diamond in the corner.

"Jug it's beautiful. You didn't have to get me anything you know that." I said looking up at him.

"Yeah I know I wanted to. I uh hope you like it."

"I love it." I said and I took it out of the box and put it round my neck and I tried to clip it but I couldn't.

"Want some help?" Jughead said smiling I nodded then I turned around and moved my hair out of the way and he clipped the necklace then he placed his hands on my shoulders and he kissed my neck softly. Then I turned around and pulled him into a hug.

"Thank you again."

"It's ok."

"Oh!" I shouted and I pulled away from Jughead "I've got your present upstairs wait here." I said kissing him softly then running upstairs I grabbed his present off of the side and ran downstairs and handed him the black box.

"Thanks. You didn't have to get me anything." He said smiling and he opened it and pulled it out. It was a mat black zippo with a three point crown on it echoed in gold and it had Juggie etched in the back also in gold and the insert of it was also gold. He smiled at it then he looked up and me.

"Uh I remember you said that your one you've had for years broke and you had to use plastic lights and you said you didn't like them because the wheel thing is to small so I had this one made. It's ok if you don't like it it's ok I......"

"Betts!" Jughead said putting his hand on my shoulder. "Your rambling." He said smiling at me. "I love it thank you." He said and he kissed me passionately.

"Are you sure you don't want to come in?"

"Yeah I'm going to go for a run then I'm going to just spend the rest of the day with my family. I might come by later and if I don't I'll call you."

"Ok." I said and I pulled him into one last hug then I kissed him softly.

"Bye Betts. I'll see you later." He said kissing me one last time before leaving then I walked back over to my family and started opening my presents.

Jughead POV

After we'd opened our presents and stuff I went for a long run then I ran home once I was home I saw that my mom's car was full of boxes. I was confused and when I walked in and saw my mom and dad where arguing I didn't pay any attention to them and I went upstairs and shower then I got changed into a pair of black jeans and a S tshirt and I picked up my flannel shirt and put it on then I picked up my zippo Betty got me and I put it in my pocket then I heard JB shouting and crying outside. I ran downstairs and saw the front door wide open I walked out and saw my mom trying to drag JB into the car Julian was already sat in his car seat and my dad was pleading with my mom to stay.

"What's going on?" I shouted as I stood next to my dad. JB pulled herself from my mom's arm and jumped at me and she hugged me tightly.

"Mom's trying to take me and move to Toledo. That's 24hours away!" She said sobbing into my chest and I held her tight.

"No! Mom what the hell why are moving again?!"

"It doesn't matter why! JB stop being ridiculous and get in the car!" My mom shouted.

"Jug don't let her take me! Please I don't want to go." She said sobbing still.

"Gladys please don't take them." My dad pleaded.

Then my mom grabbed JB and pulled her away from me and practically threw her in the back seat why she was screaming.

"Dad! Do something!" I said with tears in my eyes. Then before anyone could say anything my mom drove away.

"What the hell dad! Why did she leave!!" I said with tears in my eyes.

"She cheated on me last week with some guy from work and now she's taken JB and Julian." He said with tears in his eyes. Then I turned around and started to walk away. "Jug where are you going!" He shouted as kept walking.

"Betty." Was all I said as I walked towards her house.
