A Little Different ~ Bughead

Chapter 23

Betty POV

I leave for LA tomorrow so I stayed the night at Jughead's and Then next the morning we went to the bijou and watched a double feature then we went to pops and then we walked to Sweetwater River and Jughead brought a blanket and he layer it out in the riverbank and Jughead lay on it and I lay on his bicep as we just listened to the sound of the river. I turned and so me and Jug where facing.

"I'm going to miss you Juggie."

"I'm going to miss you to." He said and he kissed me softly. "Betty can you promise me something?"

"Of course."

"That once you go to LA you'll be happy."

"Of course I will Juggie but I'll still miss you. I worry Jug when I'm not here."

"Hey you don't have to worry about me Juliet." He said and he kissed my forehead and we lay back down.

We lay there for a little while then we got up and went back to Jughead's house. We went up to his room and we lay on his bed and watched some films. The hole time though I felt like Jughead was folding me a little tighter and a little closer then he usually dose but I just figured it was because I was leaving tomorrow at 5am so I probably won't see him till when ever I come back which I'm still not sure when I'll be back. We where halfway threw a film when I looked up at Jughead and saw he was already looking down at me and I smiled at him.

"I'm going to miss this."

"Me too but I'll be back as soon as I can." I said kissing him softly then the kiss became more heated and Jughead then rolled over so he was on top off me and we kept kissing them I slipped my hands under his tshirt and ran my hands along his toned chest and stomach.

Then he started to kiss down my neck and I wrapped my legs round his waist and let out a moan. I took my hand out from under his shirt and put my hand in his hair and pulled gently making him groan against my neck then he started to kiss up my jaw line to my mouth and he started to kiss again. After a very heated make out section that lasted for god knows how long. I had to go home. As I walked out of Jughead's house he pulled me into a hug.

"I'm going to miss you so much."

"I'll miss you too."

"I love you."

"I love you too. I'll b back as soon as I can."

"Ok."

"Bye Juggie."

"Bye Betts." He said and I kissed him passionately before going home. When I got home I changed into my pyjamas and then I spent all night texting Jughead and at about 1am I went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up and looked at the time. 10:26am I shot and pulled my jeans and tshirt on and I tied my hair into a ponytail before running down the stairs and I saw my mom sat in the living room drinking a coffee why my dad sat next to her reading the paper.

"Mom?"

"Oh good honey your finally up."

"I thought we where leaving for LA at 5am?"

"We where but I tried to wake you but you wouldn't so were going to leave at 2pm instead. Is that ok?"

"Yeah it's fine. Uhh I'm going to go shower then." I said walking up the stairs then I went into my bathroom and had a long shower. Once I got out I got changed and ready again. Then I went downstairs and made myself some cereal. Why I was eating Polly ran down the stairs and ran over to the window.

"Polly what are you doing?"

"Yeah Polly your acting like a crazy person." My dad said and my mom hit him on the arm.

"Betty what's going on next door?" She said looking back at me.

"Which next door? " I said with a mouthful of cereal.

"The Jones. There's an ambulance outside." I shot up and ran to the window and saw there was an ambulance out side of Jughead's house. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw a missed call from Jug and a voicemail I was about to click on it when I saw the paramedics running out why wheeling someone out on a gurney. I shoved my phone in my pocket then grab my shoes and pulled them in and I ran outside with Polly and my parents following me. I know it's horrible to say but I was really hoping it was FP not Jughead but then I saw FP come out of the house and got into the back of the ambulance and I stopped in my tracks and I started to breath heavily as the ambulance drove away.

"It's Jug." I said and I felt tears start to fall down my face I turned around and Polly pulled me into a hug and I cried into her.

"Betty come on I'll take you to the hospital." My mom did and we all got in the car and my mom drove to the hospital why I cried in the backseat.

Once we got there I ran into the waiting room and looked around. Then I spotted FP sat on a chair with his head in his hands why he was holding Jughead's beanie. I ran over to him and touched his shoulder.

"FP." I said slightly brokenly.

"Betty? Wa what are you doing here?" He said and I saw his eyes where red and puffy.

"I saw the ambulance. Is he ok?" I said as mite tears formed in my eyes.

"I don't know."

"What...What happened?"

"He uh uh took a bunch of his prescription pain killers and I uh found him on the floor I
I called the ambulance but I I don't know how long he'd been there for." He said and he started to cry again.

I st down next to him and then Polly came over and sat next to me and I rested my head on her shoulder as I cried.
