The first thing I did when I got to Mira's house was call my dad. Of course, I didn't tell him what really happened and instead lied saying that a girl had invited me to a party and the other night and I ended up getting wasted.

Unsurprisingly,he didn't believe me, but what was surprising, was that Mira's dad ended up talking to my dad to explain the situation and after what seemed like a lengthily, chatty and positive talk, he realized I was telling the truth (even though I wasn't) and told me to stay there for the time being. Though, of course, he was pretty mad that I was drinking and said we'd discuss punishment later.

Afterwards,I took a much-needed nap in the guest room where I wouldn't wake up for sometime. Though, when I eventually did wake up, I woke up to the news that my motorcycle had been retrieved and completely repaired.

Obviously, I was happy it was ok, as it was a gift given to me by my dad on my sixteenth birthday. The motorcycle had actually been passed down from my grandfather, to my father on his sixteenth birthday, so It was special to me and if I had lost it, I would've been devastated. Thankfully, that didn't happen.

And it's not like I didn't trust the mechanic who repaired it, but I just wanted to be on the safe side, so I took a look around to see its condition. As I did, Mira came out of her house and walked over to me.

"Hey,"she said, still looking sickly, but better than yesterday. Her skin didn't seem as pale and her eyes had gone back to normal. Though, she had bed hair, but that was to be expected seeing as how she just woke up, which was evident by her pajamas.

I smiled at the sight of her. "Nice Pjs," I said, having noticed her my little pony themed pjs.

Mira  blushed, and she glared angrily at me. "

What?!" I said, acting innocent.

She folded her arms."Anyways, I noticed you weren't in the house, so I came out here to see what you were doing."

"Oh,well, I was just making sure my bike was ok."

"Is it?"

"Yup,whoever repaired it did a great job!"

 "Good."

There was a moment of awkward silence.

"So, are you leaving?" I got upfrom off my knees and I stood up.

"Uh, I think so yeah. Best not keep my dad waiting."

"Right.Well, I just wanted to make sure I said thank you before you left."

 "For what?"

"Saving me of course, duh! If you hadn't of done what you did, we'd probably still bestuck down there, that or I would've been dead."

"Oh, that. Right, don't worry about it, you would've done the same for me had our roles been swapped."

    "I don't know about that...."

I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"Well, you might've noticed that I'm a bit aggressive," she said, sounding embarrassed.

 I scoffed. "A bit?"

"Ok,ok, maybe more than a bit. That's not the point! The point is, is that because of my aggressive nature, I can be a bit selfish, and I'm not entirely sure that I would have helped, had our roles been swapped!"

Wow,this revelation had hit me hard. I didn't know whether to think she was just being modest, or a bitch. Either way,I wasn't really that mad at her, she did save my life after all, which meant she wasn't a completely selfish person.
