You laid in your bed underneath your fuzzy blankets looking out of the window at the dull morning sky. It reminded you that it was the season autumn and that you needed to be out and about being watched by the leaves that fell off of trees and followed by the ones that were blown about by the wind. You hopped out of bed immediately missing the warmth and comfort of it. You made your way to the bathroom to brush your teeth, shower, and things as such...
You then walked out of the bathroom and into your closet to pick out the perfect outfit for the weather. Once you were dressed you grabbed your bag and headed out of the door. The breeze immediately slapped you in the face with the feel and scent of fall. You were so happy you wanted to show the world something that they already knew about. You grabbed your keys and tossed your phone in your bag then walked out of your studio apartment door. Walking outside of the complex you spotted your neighbor Margret who held her cat in her lap while sitting on the first step of the three. "Good morning Margret." She flashed a pleasant smile at you and continued to stroke her cat whose name was Georgy. "Good morning Y/n, how are you today sweetheart?" You nodded and grabbed onto the straps of my backpack. "I'm doing just fine. Just headed for a little walk to enjoy the season." She chuckled. "Oh, I know how much you love autumn. Enjoy it now." You smiled and walked away. You had looked down to watch your feet crunch the leaves to add to the satisfaction of hearing it. And you were so concentrated on the action that you forgot you weren't the only one walking on this sidewalk. "I am so so sorry, I didn't mean to-" You were cut off by your own envision. You looked up and saw a man with stunning features. Hair more chocolatey than chocolate itself, eyes remarkably blue, and face structure like no other. "Hi." He flashed a smile. His pearly white teeth dazzling against all the orange around you. "Hi." And after a couple of seconds of awkward silence, he chuckled and you decided to speak up. "I'm sorry about bumping into you there. I uh...I haven't seen you around here before have I?" You tucked a curl of hair behind your ear and tilted your head up to him.
"I don't know I can't say I've seen you before. I'm Henry." He nodded. The little bit of sun that was out had finally gone behind the stretched clouds. "I'm Y/n. And I'm just out today enjoying the season. Fall is my favorite."
"Well good for you. Where you headed to?" He asked. "Oh, there's a fall festival right up here in the park that I wanted to check out." You threw your hand in the direction of the festival and his eyebrows raised. "That's where I'm going. Wanna join me? I see that we are both alone." You pressed your lips together. You weren't sure if this was safe seeing that you had just met him. "And how do you know I don't have friends waiting for me there?" He laughed and shrugged. "I guess I'll see won't I?" Still, you didn't know. The warmness inside of you when he insisted that he come along with you made you giddy. So you agreed to hang out with him there.
