Last Saturday, your day was going well. You and Henry were at the cliffs with some friends jumping into the water below. All day and no accidents. Everyone was eating, laughing, and having fun. But things took a turn for the worst when it was your turn to jump. As you looked down at the water nothing had appeared to be beneath it. So you chose a spot to jump and did so. Right upon touching the eater as you were fully submerged and going at a fast speed you jumped right onto a boulder that was invisible to the human eye from up high. As soon as it happened you let out a loud cry because of the excruciating snap and pain you felt in your leg but it was unheard because you were still underwater. And then you couldn't even feel your leg at that moment. Thankfully Henry had jumped before you and was waiting on the lower rocks. You used everything in you to come to the surface. And the pain you felt was unbearable upon reaching the surface you called for Henry. "Something wrong!" You screamed. A few people out of the bunch that stood on the lower rocks turned to you. You were farther away from them as you would have liked to have been. But when you got there Henry and someone outside of the circle of friends you knew, helped you out of the eater. As they did so you screamed in agony. "My leg! It's my leg!" And indeed as you look at your leg it had been broken and was quickly bruising up. Everyone pitched in to find you a way back up the trail and on top of the cliff where you would then be transported to the hospital by Henry and two of his and your friends.

...

Some time has passed now since that accident. A week to be exact. You were still healing little by little every day but it would be a while before a full recovery. Henry was staying with you until you were fully healed. Where you were in your apartment was where you have been since last week. You can't do much because even the slightest step causes you pain. Removing your attention from the journal you were writing in, you looked up as Henry walked into the room with your lunch. "Thanks babe." You said. In reply, he smiled and kissed your temple. "How much time do you have on your break?" You asked. He sighed, as he had remembered he would have to get back to work soon after checking on you. "15 Minutes. How's your leg?" He asked sitting beside your broken and wrapped up left leg. "It's not bothering me much since I'm not using it." You told him. He ran his fingers around the top of the cast where your knee was slightly exposed and then placed his hand on the cast itself. "I didn't tell you about when I broke my arm did I?" You shook your head and bit into your slice of pizza while Henry situated himself on your bed, preparing to tell you about that time. "I was kneeboarding on vacation, and somehow the rope I was attached to got hung up in the boats motor and pulled me, and I slammed right into the back of the boat. Fortunately, though, my arm prevented me from having any extreme damage to this beautiful face. " He caressed his jaw and you laughed. "Yes, fortunately." He smiled and you continued to eat your pizza. "I just want it to heal so I can go places with you again." You had missed hanging with Henry almost every day. But since your leg is broken and he works, you're at home all day alone until he comes back. "I know." He placed his hand on your face and smoothed his thumb over your cheekbone. His hands were so soft against your skin that when he pulled away you missed it immediately. "I've got to get going." He began to get up. "I'll miss you," He said as he kissed you again, this time on your forehead, nose, and lips. "And I'll have mama come and check on you." He was referring to his mother Martha who he would send to check on you sometimes. You nodded and knew you would miss him badly. "I love you!" You said. "Love you too sweets!" He shouted and left out of your bedroom door to your front door where he would then exit and lock the door behind him.
