{You and Henry unexpectedly find out you're pregnant}
The alarm clock buzzed for the third time before you finally clicked it off and rose out of bed. Last night was pretty rough for you at work so you thought it was in your best interest to hit snooze twice. And it didn't help that you had to volunteer at your old elementary school for summer camp. Originally planning to wake up at 8 am you ended up awakening at 10. As you were about to remove yourself from the bed you found you were restricted by something. That something was Henry's arm around your waist, your back to him. He had decided to sleep in too. You sighed and clasped your hand over his as you had to accept the fact that you had to leave him, and wishing that you could just lay there for another hour. However, upon realizing you had only 30 minutes to get ready, you removed his arm from you and headed to your closet. Thankfully you showered the night before because you wouldn't have enough time to take one right now. You heard him lightly groan and shift around in the bed meaning he was waking up. "Good morning." His raspy voice sent chills down your arms as you dug through the various shirts. "Morning." You smiled looking over at him. Finally, you decided on a light blue tee and a pair of dark blue jeans. As you headed to the bathroom to brush your teeth Henry was rolling out of bed. Once he made it to the edge he ran his hand through his dark locks and stretched. It was such a beautiful sight you had to make your way over to him. You placed a hand on his bare shoulder and kissed his forehead before running your own hand through his hair. "Have you got to volunteer today?" The sleepy bed-headed man looked up at you with squinted eyes. "Yeah," You simply said as you admired him. "I'll take you." He said as he grabbed your waist and backed you up so that he could have enough room to stand. "That's alright Henry. If you need more rest you should stay." You tried to get him back in bed. "No no no, I'm going to take you. Now come on and let me get ready you've got like two seconds before you've got to be there." You chuckled and let Henry pass you to get himself ready to take you to work. Time was still slipping away from you so you went to brush your teeth before him. After both of you were finished you headed out of the door and to the school where you would be volunteering.

Walking into the school you could hear all of the children laughing and playing around in the cafeteria. It was way more children there than the first time you volunteered and it seemed as if the amount had tripled. You made your way to the back where you would be serving but too many kids were running around for you to get there swiftly. "Guys no running in the cafeteria please!" You shouted over the loud bouts of laughter. Still, you struggled not to bump into the kids as you continued to make your way back. Careful as you were though this didn't prevent you from being ran into from behind by one of the smaller kids. The little girl jumped up as if she had not just bumped into you and then fallen on the ground, and headed back to where she was. What a busy day this was going to be you thought. As you had finally gathered yourself again and turned to face where you would continue to walk, you found yourself stumbling to keep your balance before finally falling to the ground. You found the side of your pants soaked in what smelled like apple juice. "Are you alright y/n?" Another volunteer had come up and asked you as she began to help you back to your feet. "Yeah, I'm fine." You said. That was before you tried walking and a sharp pain shot up your leg from your right ankle. "Wait!" You shouted from the pain. "I think I sprung my ankle." You tried again but only limped and had been greeted with another good amount of pain. "Here let's get you sat down." The young girl helped you to one of the lunch tables and grabbed a little stool that you could set your foot upon. "Thanks Venny." Venny was short for Vanessa which was her name. "You'll have to call Henry, he brought me here this morning." She nodded and grabbed your phone. The two of you had gotten pretty close since you volunteered for summer camp two years in a row together.

After packing you in the car Henry spoke to Venny for a minute before getting in the car to take you to the hospital. "So you slipped on apple juice?" He asked with a raised brow. "Yeah, it was really hectic today. Way more kids were there than I expected." You touched the swollen area and winced at the slight push you gave it. "Now you really are gonna have to stay in bed. Don't think I didn't hear you hit snooze like three times this morning." Henry laughed and you lightly pushed his arm. "Yeah you might not want to do that or we'll be right in that ditch over there." You just shook your head and laid your head back.

You were now waiting for the doctor to come into the checkup room with Henry sitting in a chair and you on the table. Just as you were about to get Henry to go see where she was the knob on the door turned. "Hello Ms.Y/l/n, I'm Doctor Venice and I'll be assisting you today." You all three shared smiles and handshakes with each other. "I'm just gonna do a quick physical before I check on your ankle alright?" You nodded as Doctor Venice started to check your ear, eyes, mouth, and reflexes. "Ok, I'm gonna need hubby's assistance for this. I need you to try to stand and turn around for me so I can check your frame." You slowly but surely got down off of the table with the help of the Doctor and Henry and held onto the table as the doctor checked up and down your back, pressing on your sides and up your spine. She placed her stethoscope on three different parts of your back."Uhm...Ms.Y/l/n, I'm gonna ask if you can give me a urine sample." She grabbed a small plastic cup from the counter and returned back to you while Henry helped you back up on the table. "What is it for?" You asked. "I felt something when checking you from behind and I'd just like to make sure it isn't anything concerning." You looked at Henry who watched the doctor sternly as he listened to the information. "Um...Ok." You took the cup and Henry helped you to the restroom that was right beside the office.

After returning to the doctor the sample, you waited a good 30 minutes before she came back with your results. "Well, I hope this is good news for the two of you," The doctor paused and examined both you and Henry's expressions. "Ms.Y/ln, you're pregnant." She said. You didn't react immediately because you still hadn't comprehended the words put in that sentence until Henry grabbed your face with his two hands and flashed a big smile. "You're pregnant." He said. An uneven chuckle left your mouth. "I'm pregnant." You said out loud. "You're pregnant." The doctor said again. You laughed, and Henry laughed with you. "Oh my goodness!" He exclaimed as he wrapped his arms around what he could hold of you from him being so tall and you sitting still. "We're gonna have a baby Henry." You looked up at the 6'1" man and his eyes had a slight gloss to them. He appeared to be on the brink of tears but he hugged you again before you could see one fall. But you didn't have to see it. You felt it fall on your shoulder, then a few more followed. You rubbed his lower back and brought your head into his torso as the doctor excused herself. What she had revealed to you made you forget your ankle was still throbbing. You were finally going to have a baby with the man of your dreams. And all that would need to follow, is marrying him.
