You and your sister y/s/n were out shopping for some things for her new apartment and the two of you were struggling to find anything she liked. "I don't know we might have to check another store." She said sounding sad at the situation. "Let's just keep lo-" You were cut off by your phone ringing loudly from your bag. Looking at the caller I.D you saw that it was Henry. The two of you met a little over a week ago via mutual friends. You had grown to really like him and had hoped that the two of you would continue to hit it off. Seeing his name pop up made you smile and look at your sister who had raised an eyebrow and smirked. You shook your head and answered the call. "Hello?" You said. "Heyy y/n." He responded. "Hi Henry, how are you?" You laughed. Sometimes you laugh even when nothing is funny to get over the nervousness of different situations. "I'm Good. Uhh, how are you? How've you been?" He sounded just as nervous as you felt. "I'm awesome. Just helping my sister find some things for her apartment. I love decorating." Which is true. You had planned how your apartment would look from the age of 18. Now 24 and you're still switching around themes and colors. "Ah, where at?" He sounded very curious while asking. "We're just at Ikea. The grandfather of home decorating." Your sister snorted and shook her head. "That wasn't funny." She said. You laughed and touched random things on the shelves. "Wanna know something cool?" He asked. "Of course." You replied. "I'm at Ikea right now. Right across from the target." Your stomach slightly dropped. You were at the same Ikea and felt that you looked a mess. What if you bump into him? What if he wants to meet up? You were freaking out. "Really? Wow." You immediately grabbed a hair tie and tied your hair back into a bun. You tried to fix your clothes on you which didn't help because you were wearing your lazy day clothes. An old Panic! At The Disco shirt and some black sweats. "Which section are you in?" You asked him so that you could know how much time you had to get away without him seeing you. "I'm not quite sure but I see a pair of lovely ladies in what looks to be a candle aisle." You looked in your aisle and sure enough, you were in the candle aisle. You turned around to see Henry holding his phone to his ear and smiling at the two of you. You laughed. You just laughed through the pain. "Heyy." You said walking up to him. You went for a hug and he immediately grabbed you and pulled you in tight. When you first met him you were relieved that he felt comfortable enough to do hugs because it made you feel more open around him. Most of your old dates were too scared or nervous to hug you. Though you hugged him back you had to really reach to get your head over his shoulder because he was so much taller than you. "What are you ladies looking for imparticular? I come to this store so much I know it in and out." You smiled and looked at y/s/n. "Well, she was just looking for some candle holders and rugs. I personally wanted to look at the bathroom decor section." You said. "I can take you over there if you like." He replied. You've been in this store before and you were sure you could find it on your own but you thought it would be nice to have him help you. "Ok sure, y/s/n I'll be back in a few ok?" She nodded and shooed you away. "Don't take too long now." She giggled and you just shook your head at her. You and Henry walked, with his almost full basket, to the bathroom section in the store. "So I see you found some stuff that you liked." You rummaged through his basket and smiled as you did so. "I did nosey pants," He said pushing your hands away playfully. "I see a lot of things that I like." His voice turned to more of a seductive one and you were caught off guard. So much so you could probably see it in your body language. "What about you? Do you see anything you'd like for your bathroom?" He asked changing his tone of voice. You nodded and picked up a little elephant soap dish. "This is really cute." You studied the small decoration and placed it back on the shelf. "Are you gonna get it?" He asked. You shook your head. "I'm just looking. I'm so distracted by things all the time I left my wallet at home." You threw your hands in the air and let them fall back down on your sides. "Oh. That sucks." Was all he said. You nodded and the both of you headed back to where y/s/n was to grab her for checkout.

...

At the checkout line y/s/n was done paying for her things and now waited outside of the line for you. Henry placed his things on the counter and you decided to wait with y/s/n. "So what y'all talk about?" She asked already digging into the bag of chips that she brought even though she hadn't left the store yet. "Nothing much. Just about what we were looking for and stuff we saw in here that we liked." She hummed. "I'm sure he does see something he likes." You slapped her arm and she laughed. Henry then came up beside you and the three of you headed out at the same time. "This is for you." He handed you a bag. You were confused as to what it was because you didn't ask for anything and he didn't say anything about buying you something. You looked inside the bag and saw the elephant soap dish and immediately smiled. "Henry you didn't have to." You laughed and couldn't believe he actually got it for you. "It was my pleasure. I saw that you wanted it so I got it for you." You gave him a hug and he hugged you back tighter than you did him. You pulled away but was taken back in by his scent so right before you fully left his grasp you had to get in one last squeeze. "Thank you so much." He nodded and smiled at you. Y/s/n just hung beside you and chewed her chips really loudly. "I owe you now," You said placing the bag in y/s/n's basket. "No, you do not. I really wanted to get that for you so I did. You don't owe me anything." You didn't care that he didn't want anything back. You were going to get him something soon enough. You just felt like you had to. "But you do have to let me take you out for dinner next Saturday." Yes! You thought. You could repay him by going out to dinner with him. Perfect. "I can definitely do that." You planned it out and hugged one last time before you and y/s/n got in her car to go home.
