The next day you were kind of anxious to see Clark again. He now knows that you've figured out that he's superman. Who would you tell first? Should you even tell anyone? Does anyone else know? All you kept thinking to yourself was how you could be working with a guy you never even thought existed. You knew you would have to face the situation one way or another so instead of putting it off any longer with your pacing outside, you finally decided to prepare yourself for the possible confrontation. You walked into the big office building and took the elevator up to the floor you and Clark work on. Stepping off of the elevator, you kept your head low but your eyes up surfing the place for him. But he was nowhere to be seen. You were quite relieved but also a little disappointed since you had worked yourself up to be ready for a conversation about him being the 'man of steel'. You continued on to do your work for the next 15 minutes until all of a sudden you heard a plop behind you. It was none other than Clark sitting at his desk to get started on his report. You couldn't look away from him. You thought to yourself, are you the only one in the office that knows? Quickly realizing it was silly to think others knew, you had decided not to tell anyone as you had previously begun thinking about telling claire. You turned your attention back to your computer, but you wouldn't be doing any work right now. You thought of how you could bring it up or if you should at all. Getting stressed out by the choices you hurried up to the breakroom where you could think and get your mind in order. You closed the door behind you and sat at one of the tables in the back of the small room. Dropping your head down onto your arms you let out a deep sigh. "What am I gonna do?" You asked out loud to yourself. "How about not tell anyone what you saw." You jolted up as you were startled at the deep voice that came from in front of you. "Clark," You said. "I'm sorry," You began apologizing. You didn't know what for exactly. "Don't apologize." He simply said pulling out a seat from the table and sitting in it. "I knew you'd be the one to catch on. Nobody else pays attention to things in the office like you do." You thought about that for a minute. How does he know how much you pay attention. "I know you're probably confused. If I have to say, maybe I've been doing a bit of watching myself since I've been working here. You're so enthusiastic about your job and it just amazes me." Your heart fluttered. Clark Kent? Watching you?
"May I ask, how did you know?" He asked. You shook your head. "I didn't. I didn't even think you existed." He chuckled. Wow, that smile, you thought. "I just thought you were being really sketchy." The both of you began to laugh. "Well, now you know my little secret." He shrugged. "I won't tell anyone. I swear." He sighed and nodded. "Thank you." You smiled, still in awe that superman exists and you work with him AND he's been watching you. "I have so many questions." He chuckled once more. "Why don't we get some lunch on your break, and I'll give you all the answers you want." You happily agreed before the both of you made your way back into the main part of the office.
