Feeling a hard and cold surface under me, I open my eyes and regret it the moment I did it. The light blasts its way into the room and blinds me.

Blinking a few times to get my eyes to adjust to the light, I sit up and feel like I have been hit by a bus.

Seeing a big burly man sitting in the corner of the room, I narrow my eyes at him and he flinches. Using that to my advantage, I call him over to me and he comes closer.

“Where am I?” I ask, hoping he would just blurt it out and tell me. “Not so fast, Harry!” Rose’ shouts just as this so called Harry was about to tell me what I want to know.

“Well, well. Look at what we have here. The Luna is my prisoner. You know, I never thought I’d say this, but you should’ve killed me the moment that mutt of yours told you to. But you just had to play the innocent one, didn’t you?”

She shouts out, making Harry flinch once again. “When I’m done with you, you’re going to wish you were dead, b*tch!” I shout, just as I feel a sting across my left cheek.

Jane’s POV

“Where’s Angel?” I ask as I see Chris coming back alone and not with my best friend.

“She said she wanted to have some time to think about things.” He says. Taking a sip of my drink, I make my way to where I saw Chris standing with Angel.

“Have you seen Angel?”

I ask Tim, the guy who was head over heels in love with Angel and had asked me to get them together, but Angel doesn’t know anything about it and I pretended to be Angel for the time being and told him ‘I’ wasn’t interested.

Shaking his head, I make my way around and see no one there either.

Getting worried, I take my phone out of my crochet bag and call her, but it’s going straight to voicemail. Running back towards Chris, I tell him that I can’t find Angel and his eyes turn black.

His nostrils flare and his chest rises and falls, his jaw and fists are tightly clenched and he says in a voice that doesn’t sound like his.

“Call Luke and tell him to get all the warriors and trackers to find Angel, and tell him that I’ll be there in 30 minutes.”

Chris’ POV

“She’s nowhere to be found. I looked everywhere for her…” Jane’s words keep repeating themselves in my head and every minute that goes by, I feel like I’m losing control.

I’ve broken 3 vases already and I don’t think I can hold on to my control for much longer.

“We were able to track her phone all the way to the Northern River, but it died when it got there. I think they’ve taken her to some sort of abandoned warehouse by the looks of it.”

Says Jerry, one of my best tech guys in the pack. He’s got many skills, but the only skill he doesn’t have, is keeping his Alpha from going on a rampage.

“Tell me something I want to know, Jerry. Where is this warehouse?” I ask, feeling my control slip up even more.

“I think I know where it is.” Says Jane with puffy eyes and a red nose from all the crying. “Rose’ did mention that her parents owned a warehouse a while ago and it still hasn’t been sold or destroyed, so I think that’s where she’s keeping her.”

She says. “Where is it!?” I shout, making her flinch and I immediately apologise to her. “It’s in North Carolina.” She says.

Angel’s POV

Being in this hell hole has made me very cranky and sick. I’ve thrown up quite a few times and punched Rose’ in the face.

But knowing that I’m pregnant, she punched me in the stomach a few times and because it’s still small, I hope that no damage has been done to my baby, otherwise all hell will break lose.

“When’s that mutt of yours getting here? I’m getting sick of just sitting here and looking at you.” she says with disgust as she gives me the stink eye.

“Oh don’t worry, he’ll be here.” I say. “I’ve got an idea on how to get him here quick enough.” She says. “Harry, get me my phone and a chair. And some rope too.”

She says and Harry scurries out of the room.

When he gets back, he’s holding everything that Rose’ had sent him to get. “Get up, b*tch!” She shouts as she grabs my arm roughly and sits me on the chair.

“Harry, get the tape rolling.” She says as she goes to stand behind me. Seeing a flashlight, she starts talking into the camera.

“Hello dear Alpha, I’ve got your precious little Luna here with me. If you want her alive, you’ll come to the warehouse in North Carolina, alone.

I’m sure Jane has told you about it. I enjoy having her here with me, she’s not as boring as she used to be, you know.

I’m giving you eight hours to get here, otherwise you’ll find her dead if I even find out that you’re not alone. It’s amazing how the population grows isn’t it?

You have a mate and a baby on the way, be quick, or else neither of them will survive. Don’t waste time, Alpha. Tick tock.”

She says and grabs my arm to make me stand on my feet. She then punches me in the stomach a few times and I fall to the ground, clutching my stomach tightly.

Trying to open my heavy eyelids, I fail once more and groan. Then suddenly, I hear a loud crashing noise and loud stomping.

“I told your boyfriend to come alone and he brings an army, well you can thank him for getting you killed.” She says and I hear a loud gunshot and feel pain in my stomach.

She shot me.
