"You look hot, Angie, don't worry. Chris won't be able to keep his hands off you tonight."

Gosh, Jane is so annoying with her naughty comments tonight, I just feel like slapping her mouth shut.

I am currently at Jane's house prepping myself for our double date. She is also here preparing herself with me, much to my displeasure.

She looks amazing in the black lace dress that she bought when we went out shopping the other day.

To top it off, she wore her famous black sandals that she loves too much for my liking, but it's not like I have a say in this. 'Hell yeah I do!'

"You know, if I were you, I'd probably choose another pair of sandals to wear. I don't understand why you have to wear those to every single formal event you go to.

Sure, they look stunning on your feet, but wear these ones today, please."

I lift up her 'other' black sandals in my hand, hoping that she would at least consider wearing them just for our date with the guys.

"Those are too complicated, these will be easier to take off once I get home from the tiring night. Walking in five inch heels for two hours is hard work, just imagine it being for the whole night."

'Wow, I never really thought of it that way. I think I need a change of shoes.'

"What are you doing?"

Jane asks as she sees me change into a different pair of sandals. "Changing into more comfortable shoes."

Just like that, she bursts out laughing and clutches her stomach in the process.

"You're an idiot, Angie. You don't have to change your shoes. If you're comfortable in them then don't change 'em."

She simply said. "No, your version of the truth is more convincing. These babies are more comfortable, so I'm going with these."

She looks at me like I've grown an extra head or something, but I just shrug it off and turn away to continue with my preparation for our date.

By the time we're done, I can't lie, but we both look smoking hot in our dresses and elegant hair styles.

"Oh. My. Word. You two look amazing. Come here real quick."

I'm getting really annoyed with our moms having to stop us every time we go out to take pictures. Sure, they want memories and all, but this is just too much.

Oh, my mom decided that she wanted to see how we looked, personally. Not just from the pictures which Jane's mom is also taking of us.

So she decided to come all the way to Jane's house to see for herself. "Okay, last picture mom. The guys are waiting for us outside."

'That's a lie, Angie. And you know it!' "Stop lying, Angela. Just a few more pictures won't kill anyone."

Wow, my mom never uses my full name. Like ever. Especially in front of other people.

Well Jane is practically my sister, and her mom is like my second mother, so it's okay. "Well, that's the guys." I'm pretty sure they all heard the car drive into the driveway.

"They should come in My mom says, whilst taking pictures. She won't stop unless the guys come in, I know she won't.

Luckily, they come right on time when she's about to take the hundredth picture tonight. "Good evening, ladies. You both look wonderful today."

Jonah, who is dressed in a navy, almost black suit, a white and navy shirt and a navy blue tie, gestures to our moms, who are just wearing regular clothes and aprons on.

They've been baking and spring cleaning the whole day. Just another excuse for my mom to come here and see us tonight.

"Okay boys, picture." You have got to be kidding me! "No, thank you mom. We'll be back late. Don't wait up."

Jane says, and walks out the door after releasing a heavy sigh as we reach the black SUV waiting for us.

Chris is looking quite exquisite in a black- red suit, a white and red shirt and a red tie.

Complementing the colour of my blood- red dress. "You look beautiful, my Angel."

With that, he gives me a quick, yet passionate kiss that left me weak in the knees and tempted for more, but now is not the time for that, so I stop the kiss from going any further.

"You don't look too bad yourself, Mr Watson." I had to give the poor guy a compliment, otherwise he would 'take me right now', as he likes to say.

"But you just ruined my lip gloss and put some on yourself. Although you do look quite yummy with my lip gloss all over your lips."

I give him one last peck on the lips and take out my lip gloss from my handbag to reapply on my lips. "So, where are we going?"

I just had to ask; these boys are giving each other the 'eye' and I'm not liking it one bit. "It's a surprise. And oh, Angel, I know you don't like surprises, but this one you'll love, I just know it."

Well, at least Chris sounds confident that I'll love the surprise they've planned for us.

Just as I was about to cross-examine Jonah and his partner in crime, an exquisite looking restaurant views itself in front of us as we drive into the parking lot.

It looks quite expensive if you ask me, yet classic and accommodating. "Is this the surprise you were telling me about?"

I would've preferred to go to a normal restaurant, but I like this one very much.

"Yes, since you ladies wore these amazing dresses, we though you would fit in perfectly with the crowd."

Chris says this while gawking at my exposed skin- but in a nice way. 'A way that would make me want to rip that suit off of him right now.'

Then he whispers something in my ear that kind of caught me off-guard, but not surprising me one bit.

The intense look in his eyes and deep tone in his voice tell me exactly what I should be expecting from those lips of his.

"Why didn't you choose another dress to wear, I doubt I'll be able to control myself once we get to my house." Oh God. 'Your house?!

This guy has got to be kidding me. I'm not yet ready to give him something so precious to me.'

"What do you mean 'your house'?" And now I'm a bit nervous as to why he wants me to go to his house. "I asked your mom permission to take you back with me. I wanted to surprise you."

'Well, I'm surprised alright.' Jane and Jonah are walking in front of us, so I doubt they heard a thing. Otherwise Jane would have contested against this crazy plan that Chris has, on my behalf.

"Are you okay, Angel?" Jane asks, and only then do I realise that she and Chris somehow changed places. "Yeah, Jane. I'm fine." 'Liar!'

The rest of the night went by smoothly, with Chris staring at me every once in a while, which made me persistent in the idea of going back to his house, with him.

The double date went extremely well.

We laughed, talked, shared a few embarrassing moments in our childhood and greatest achievements from having one another.

I couldn't be happier to say that tonight was one of the best dates I've ever had, even though Chris and I weren't the only ones on the date.

Jane and Jonah are my best friends, and I couldn't be happier that they are finally together- after how long.

The rest of the ride and our arrival to his house is history (wink), if you know what I mean.
