XXIX: Fake Friends

Hoseok let out a really big sigh as he entered his room closely followed by Jimin. "That was awful!" Hobi commented, bringing his and Jimin's pajamas from their closet. "I know. I hope Tae is okay" Jimin replied, taking the soft clothing into his hands. "Me too. I actually thought of following him but I couldn't move honestly" Hobi added as he took his shirt off.

They had just held one of, if not the worst *family meeting in the history of Bangtan. Yelling at each other, ignoring questions, bringing back past remorses and having one of them completely fleeing the scene. This was absolutely unprecedented.

"You knew about Kookie and Suga- hyung?" Hobi asked as he opened the duvet, signaling for Jimin to get under the warm cover. "Yes. Kookie kind of hinted it to me once but it was when I heard *Jin- hyung and Suga- hyung talking at night that I found out for sure" Jimin replied softly, moving all the way to his left so that Hoseok could lay next to him.

"Wow! Why didn't you tell me?" The older inquired, getting rid of his slippers and slowly tucking into the bed beside Jimin. "Not my secret to tell" Chim answered with a beautiful smile. Hoseok couldn't help but to leane closer and kiss him. Making his lips linger against Jimin's. Just a little movement being mixed in the gesture as Hoseok settled the younger's bottom lip in between his own.

"Besides you didn't tell me that Jin- hyung knew about us either" Jimin scolded playfully. Since Jin had been bold enough to reveal their relationship to the group's maknae. "That snitch! I didn't tell him" Hoseok answered with fake irritation in his voice. "I thought you did" he continued, now feeling a little confused. "No, of course not! We agreed on only one friend" Jiminie said innocently. "Then how...?" Hobi started but as soon as he began to question it, they found the answer. "Taehyung!" They both said with a smile. "Aah! That must be the reason why he and Jin- hyung are so close to each other nowadays!" Jimin spoke with a chuckle, instantly noting a little bit of nervousness in Hobi's mien.

The older boy then decided to change the subject. "Have you talked with Jisung?" He asked getting closer to his boyfriend. Jimin moved his head in denial. It was not that he didn't want to have a conversation with Jisung. The thing was that after a mega successful fourth muster, everything BTS was focused on was their next comeback.

It was indeed quite early but they had recently found out that Namjoon would have to undergo surgery soon. Which meant that they had to complete what usually took two or three months work in less than a month. It was one of their toughest challenges yet but they would have to pull through. Specially since their next comeback had been perfectly scheduled with the *Billboard Music Awards. For which, they had received an invitation right after their success on the AMAs.

This is how it now worked for Bangtan. Appointments got scheduled with more than half a year of anticipation and despite how exhausting their next comeback would be, they were incredibly excited for what was coming their way.

The recording sessions and the choreography rehearsals had been tough already. They could not afford to be anything less than perfect for their upcoming presentations. The biggest pressure, however, was on Taehyung, who would be performing the intro for the new album. An intro that Joonie had not written yet, but that he had promised would be spectacular.

Jimin absolutely believed the leader and could understand if Tae felt a little nervous about doing the intro song by himself. Honestly, he had also been a little nervous when he was presented with Serendipity. Still, he had been able to perform the song at his best and he knew Taehyung would also shine brightly, no matter what Namjoon challenged him with.

The incredibly busy schedule had been an impediment for Jimin to actually settle things down with Jisung. He still believe in him but he was not sure if he could still believe in their friendship. Honestly, he didn't care if Jisung had hurt him. After all, he had agreed. Nothing had been done against his will. However, what was unforgivable was that Jisung had gone looking for Hoseok behind his back with the only objective of creating conflict in between them. What was even more unforgivable was that the guy had dared to try to cause pain to Kookie. In Jimin's mind, no one ever could touch Jungkook.
