Wednesday,
January 17, 2018He was sitting there—all by himself on the green bench in the schoolyard.
He rose his leg and crossed it over the other while extending his arms on the rear rest of the bench.
The contrast sun radiates brighter than any other days would this week.
One would need to shade their eyes and probably squint to see him.
But only to envision a silhouette figure.I walked towards him with a smile prepared beforehand—hoping to greet him in the most proper way possible.
Now, we were facing head on. He smiled back and waved his hand as a sign of welcome.
His silhouette figure fades, revealing the face of an important person who travelled through my dreams over the last few days.He smiled along with me.
I sat there beside him, scooting closer when I get the opportunity—maybe not that close, but just as close enough for me to gaze at him.
Our shoulders are barely touching one another, his taller posture made it look like a more significant gap. The more I get closer to him, the more tempted I am to lay my head on his shoulders.
Finally, I gave in to his comfy looking shoulders and made it into a pillow to rest on. Now, he's not the only one occupying the bench.
For every minute we shared under the glistening sun, a smile generates from the both of us—sending and receiving to one another like an endless chain of love letters.
We shared an ongoing moment of a heavenly sensation—that only few could comprehend.
"You're looking oddly very happy today, something interesting happened?" He asked, laughing as he speak. I gave a broad smile and shooked my head twice.
"Mind telling me about it?" He asked once more. I shooked my head sideways that indirectly says no. But of course, it was just a tease. He got that.
His once combed hair was blown by the gentle breeze, swaying elegantly—making his hair as messy as it would always be a few years ago.
He continued to pose a calm gentle expression, his gorgeous figure makes him a real eye catcher.
I grabbed his arm and wrapped myself around it.
His brown school blazer gives off a soothing aromatheraphy—and tempts me to cling even more. He chuckled lightly and gave me a gentle kiss on my forehead before resting his head on mines.
I moved back a little and gave him a sweet smile, and he gave an even more lovely one in return. "You okay? You seem...jolly than ever."
"I'm perfect," I cheerfully answered.
The gentle breeze softly caresses my face, blowing gently and sways my long black hair around.
I looked up to him who was gazing up at the sky, posing a tiny smile.
His beautiful blue eyes are as clear as ever, gleaming beautifully and at the same time, deadfully hypnotizing to me.
My smile grew wider the more I look at him."Gotcha!" I sneakily squished his right cheek.
He slightly lowers his head to look at me and chuckles cutely.
"You're such an annoyance you know that?" he quickly taps the tip of my nose softly.
I let out a tiny laughter and hugged his hand even tighter. "I know I ammmm. But I know you still love me," I said with my eyes open wide.
He lifts his hands and circles it around my back, then strokes my hair as we continue to lock eyes.
"Yes I do love you," he paused a little, "Luna," and landed another gentle kiss.I hugged him tighter in response, "I love you more, Nicky."
He continued to stroke my hair, the lovely sensation kept me screaming inside, craving for more.
While I continue to hide the deep urge to pull him down and kiss his cute pink lips.If we weren't at school right now, I would peck his lips and score myself a kiss.
"Why do you keep smiling? Is something funny?" he questions while posing a puzzled grin.
I chuckled.
"Noo, there's nothing funny."
"Just something lovely," I shyly said while planting my face on his stomach. His hands casted another soothing touch on my head. The one I really love the most—by the most gentle loving boy. "You know there's nothing more lovely than you," he takes off my glasses and uses it.
Under the protection of his stomach, I let out my widest smile I could make.
"Hey," he taps my shoulder. "Yes?" I try my best to conceal my stretchful smile as I turn to look at him.
He didn't say anything in return—just that Nicky smile.
"What is it?" I asked.
"No, nothing.." he touched my hair, "just wanted to see your face—that's it."Before we knew it, we started to blink slower than usual. Gazing into one another's eyes, it's as if our widely open eyes and smiles are silently talking to one another-romantically.
He stretched his hand, reaching to me, and grabbed the glasses I'm wearing and used it on himself.
"Hey your glasses aren't half bad after all," he amusingly said, looking at me with a circular frame glasses.
I spontaneously stood and inspected his appearance with a hand under my chin like a professional fashionist. "Oh my gosh, you actually look good in it."
"I might consider getting myself one.." he took it off and used it on me. "My eyesight gets worse by day," he sighed.
I adjusted my glasses and laid on his lap once more. "How bad is it?" I pushed my glasses.
"Not that bad—slightly, I would say," he replied."Your glasses seem to suit me well—I guess that's another thing we have in common, Lu," he softly spoke.
I laughed a little and leaned on his shoulder. With my arms wrapped around his, I continued to gaze at the field across me—where the younger graders are playing soccer like they usually do.
Nicky is a typical sportsboy—my sportsboy who loved soccer more than anything—I do get jealous sometimes. His obsession though, wasn't just soccer—cooking actually. Just one bite from his cooking would brighten my day despite any annoyance or tingling emotions.
But like sports—especially soccer, his self-esteem and confidence are still under the roof.
He really needs to work on it, and I have endured much of his anxiety and morale issues.
Although I have to be honest, it makes him cute."I wish we could stay this way forever.."
"What did you say?" he smile at me.
I looked back at his sparkling eyes and smiled the Cupid out of me.
"Nothing," I chuckled.
