-Chandler Bing & Y/N-
Synopsis: Chandler and Y/N realise that they have feelings for each other and pursue a secret relationship behind Monica's back.

You never meant to fall for him. He never meant to fall for you. But unfortunately, it happened. You fell for Chandler Bing, one of your closest friends and also your best friends boyfriend. It all happened after the groups trip to Vegas. You spent a lot of time with Chandler whilst you were there and when you got home you realised that you had feelings for him. When himself and Monica announced that they were moving in together it broke your heart because you knew that you could never have him. But one day, everything changed. You were helping Chandler move into Monica's apartment since everyone else was busy. Monica had kept on asking him to move all of the boxes that were scattered around the apartment and you had been roped in to help. "Why didn't you unpack straight away, at least Monica could have helped you then. She's surprising strong for such a small person?" You said as you hung up some of Chandler's clothes in the wardrobe.
"I'd just packed it all up and I didn't want to have to unpack it all, it was too much effort," he replied.
"Wow, you really are lazy, Joey's been a bad influence on you," you joked.
He chuckled at you words and continued putting stuff away in the draws. "Looks like I'm done," you grinned.
As you turned around you tripped over one of the empty boxes. You fell into Chandler and both of you tumbled to the ground. He landed flat on his back with you lay on top of him. You both burst out laughing but when the laughter died down, you both realised the awkwardness of the situation. Your faces were extremely close together, your legs were intertwined and his hands were lightly placed on your hips. Your eyes flickered from his eyes to his lips and he made no attempt to move from the position he was in. You slowly leant down and pressed your lips to his. Although it was wrong, the kiss felt so right. Much to your surprise, after a few seconds you felt Chandler kiss you back. It was a slow and sensual kiss that made you sure of your feelings for Chandler. He deepened the kiss as he gripped your hips tighter. When you felt out of breath, you pulled away and stared at Chandler. When you realised that he had just cheated on Monica, you scrambled off of him and backed away. "Chandler I am so sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you, I'm sorry," you apologised.
Chandler, who had hoisted himself off of the floor, had a panicked expression. "Look it's fine, it just happened in the moment, it meant nothing right," he rambled.
"Yes of course it didn't mean anything," you lied," maybe I should just go, I'll talk to you later."
Before he could even get the chance to reply, you dashed out of the apartment. You ran down the stairs to your apartment, which was on the bottom floor, wanting to get as far away from Chandler as possible. You slammed the door behind you and leant against it, completely of breath. You couldn't believe that you had just kissed Chandler. You had just betrayed one of your best friends without her even knowing. What surprised you the most was that Chandler had kissed you back and didn't even try to resist it. You were meant to go to Monica and Chandlers tonight with the rest of the group for dinner but you decided to tell them you were ill since you couldn't face anyone right now. You lay down on the sofa and watched some crap tv programmes until you fell asleep. A loud knock on the door woke you up a few hours later. You rolled off of the sofa and dragged yourself to the front door. You swung it open to reveal Chandler who was looking at you with a blank expression. "Can I come in?" He asked.
"Yeah of course," you replied as you stepped aside to let him in.
"Can I get you anything to drink? Water... coff..."
"It meant something," Chandler said cutting you off.
"What?" You asked, completely confused.
"The kiss. It meant something to me," he stated.
You were completely taken back by his words and you didn't know how to respond. You couldn't believe that he was stood in front of you, telling you that the kiss you both shared meant something to him. "Chandler, you love Monica, it wouldn't have meant anything," you replied.
"I feel something for you Y/N, I never thought I'd fall for you, I mean you're one of my closest friends, but here I am telling you I have feelings for you when I'm with someone else," he responded.
You didn't know what to say to him. Part of you wanting to confess your feelings for him and kiss him once again but the other part of you was telling you to send him home and forget it all ever happened. However you ignored the part of you that was trying to convince you to walk away from the situation. "I have feelings for you too, I only realised once we'd got home from Vegas but I couldn't exactly tell you," you confessed.
Chandler walked closer to you until you were face to face. He placed a hand on your cheek and stared into your eyes. Without saying anything he dipped his head down and pressed his lips to yours. This kiss was different to the one early. It was quick and passionate. You placed your hands on Chandler's shoulders and his slipped down to your waist, pulling you closer to him. The rest of the night was filled with immense passion and unexpected romance. For the next few months you and Chandler snuck around behind Monica's back. Most of the time he would come down to your apartment but if Monica was away you would spend the night at their apartment. Part of you felt extremely guilty but you were too invested in Chandler to even think about anything else. But one day, everything changed. Chandler had got a call from a wedding venue that Monica had put her name down for and suddenly it was like he was completely drowned in guilt. As soon as he got the call he hurried down to your apartment and hammered on the door. You opened the door and was nearly knocked over as Chandler barged into your apartment. "Everything okay? I thought I was seeing you tonight?" You asked as you closed the door.
"We can't do this anymore," he blurted out.
"What are you on about?" You questioned, fearing his answer.
"I love Monica, I want to spend my life with her, me and you aren't anything and we never will be, I'm sorry" he explained.
You heart shattered at his words. You felt your eyes well up so you turned away from him. You let a few tears fall and quickly wiped them away. He came over to you and pulled you into his arms. You shoved him away, a hurt expression plastered on your face. "Don't even dare touch me," You hissed.
"Y/N I'm sorry," he apologised.
"Just go," you said.
He gave you one last sad look before he disappeared out of your apartment. You distanced yourself from the group which you knew was harsh but you couldn't face them. You felt guilty for what you did to Monica so therefore you had to keep your heartbreak a secret but the group would realise something was terribly wrong straight away. Your heart broke even more when you heard that Monica and Chandler has gotten engaged. You hadn't spoken to the group in months and then one day when you were getting your mail, an invitation fell from the mailbox. You bent down to pick it up and as soon as you opened it, you fully regretted it. It was an invite to Monica and Chandler's wedding. You were conflicted on whether to go or not since Monica was your best friend. You hadn't spoken to her since she'd got engaged to the man you had fallen for and although it was rude not to congratulate her, it hurt you to think of her with Chandler. You put the invitation back in your mailbox and headed up to your apartment. You spent most of you time just moping around now, not really doing anything. You tossed and turned all night thinking about Monica and Chandler's wedding. You finally came to the conclusion that you were going to go. You had to just push your feelings for Chandler aside and put Monica first. This was such a big day for her and after what you had done behind her back, the least you could do was go to her wedding and be a supportive friend. You climbed out of bed and wandered downstairs to your mailbox to retrieve the invite. As you were coming back up the stairs you crashed into someone, and if it wasn't for them wrapping an arm around you waist you would have fell down the stairs. You looked up and saw Chandler staring down at you. You detangled yourself from him quickly and moved away. "What are you doing up at 4 in the morning?" He asked.
You held the invitation up, a sad look on your face. "I wasn't sure if I was going to come but I should be there for Monica," you said.
"She wanted you to be a bridesmaid but you haven't spoken to any of us so she took that as you didn't want anything to do with her, it broke her heart," Chandler replied.
"Well you broke my heart," You hissed.
You stormed past him back to your apartment and cry yourself to sleep. You continued to blank the group as best you could. You had sent the invite back to Monica and Chandler saying that you would be attending the wedding even though you knew it would break your heart to see them get married. On the day before the wedding you contemplated whether you would be able to bare seeing them get married. A large part of you wanted to stay home and save yourself being hurt but the little part in you that was telling you to go ultimately won the internal debate. Later in the evening, you were settled down in front of the TV watching some crappy rom-com that was making you feel even more upset. Just as the film was ending, a knock on the door echoed throughout the apartment. You looked at the time and it read 10:55pm. You had no idea who would be at your apartment this late and since you hadn't buzzed anyone in they must be from the building. You cautiously opened the door to see Chandler standing there. "Can I come in?" He asked.
You nodded and stepped aside, curious as to why he was at your apartment this late at night. "I can't marry her," he said.
"What on earth are you on about?" You asked.
"I can't marry her Y/N. How can I marry her when I love someone else?" He replied.
You looked at him in shock, not knowing how to reply. "You... you love me?" You asked.
"I'm madly in love with you Y/N, I just wish I'd realised it so much sooner," he confessed.
"But what about Monica?" You asked.
"I guess I'll have to tell her that I love you," he replied.
You walked closer to Chandler and placed your hand gently on his cheek. "You're obviously just nervous about getting married, just go back to Joey's and get a good nights sleep, you'll feel different in the morning," you said.
He placed his hand on top of yours and stared deeply into your eyes. "It's you I want to be with Y/N, I'm sorry it took me so long to realise," he whispered.
He slowly leant in and pressed his lips to yours. It was a slow and soft kiss that made you realise how much you missed being intimate with Chandler. He led you to your bedroom and you spent the eve of his wedding re connecting with each other in an intimate and passionate way. When you woke up in the morning you saw a figure stood at the edge of the bed. You jumped slightly and pulled the duvet up a bit. When your eyes adjusted to the light you realised that it was infact Monica who was at the end of the bed. You shook Chandler to wake him up and when he saw Monica he shot out of the bed and covered himself with the blanket at the end of your bed. "Monica I can explain," he said.
"Don't bother," she hissed.
She stormed out of the apartment leaving you and Chandler completely shocked and unsure what to do next.
